I have been married 57 years but we have no children. I was an elementary teacher for 21 years, quitting in the spring of 1972 to stay home and care for a nephew for five years. After he became school age, I went back to work in 1977 as a police dispatcher and continued in this work for approximately ten years. I began my family research shortly before quitting this job. I took over publication of a family newsletter when the original publisher was no longer able to continue. I enjoy exchanging information with other researchers.|

You're welcome! I have a number of relatives buried in that cemetery so it's good to have a reason to get back there.

He would be my Great-Uncle on my father's side. I have been researching my family for years now that I am retired. I find it most helpful to be able to maintain a memorial, especial one so young and in need of info that would benefit others researching their families.
I hope this is helpful.

First let me apologize, his mother's maiden name should be spelled PASTUER.
Widowed father Daniel, William Winkle & wife, Lucinda (Miller) are in the 1850 Carroll Co AR census together. Daniel migrated to MO with them and is buried in Osa Cemetery in Barry Co MO.

Thank you so very much!!
|Joni (Hedrick) Dietz||RE: Re: Transfer request|
I understand the rules set forth here, but it never hurts to ask, as some are willing to transfer just for the reasons you stated and I very much appreciated you doing that for me. I might consider a transfer as well for someone who I was not related to. My mother's family is especially important to me, so for you to make the transfer, I am extremely grateful to you.
Again, thank you so much!
I noticed you had made a comment about the order of spouse listed in memorials. I don't know why it sometimes lists the spouse out of order even if the marriage dates are entered correctly.
