My name is Brenda (Boyer) Kohr. My husband, Pete, and I are researching his side of the family (Kohr/Smith)&(Minnich/Buxton), as well as my own (Boyer/Grimes)&(Beil/Shott). We are not trying to see how many memorials we can amass so that we can have our numbers posted in the "Top Contributors" catagory. We want to make memorials to pay tribute to our families and friends and hopefully help others to find theirs.|
We enjoy helping others by photographing grave markers. There are times that we may photograph markers that are near the ones we were asked to take photos of, or if we see one with our surnames. If there is no memorial for these extra photos that we take....I create one. If by chance I happen to create a memorial for a relative or a friend of yours don't hesitate to ask for a transfer. I don't feel the need to keep memorials that I have created. (unless they are family) I only created them so that someone may find a member of their family or a friend. Guidelines (and that is all they are) and numbers mean nothing....families are what is important. If people asking for out of guideline transfers has caused a problem for you.....stop making memorials. Problem solved!!
Guidelines....not rules, not regulations, not laws....not even an eleventh commandment.
NOTE: - GUIDELINES ....definition of...
A guideline is a statement by which to determine a course of action. By definition, following a guideline is never mandatory. Guidelines are NOT binding.
Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Dear Brenda & Pete,
Thank you for taking photos of the memorial stone of Pearl V Hutslar and Lillian Imogene Hutslar. These folks were my maternal grandparents. I haven't looked yet but likely you also took photos for Charles Vaughn and Albert Vaughn as they are also interred at that cemetery in Glen Rock Penn.
Pearl's middle name is Vinson not Vensen. His mother was Mary Jane Hutslar. His father is unknown but he was raised at the son of her husband Clifford Hill in London, OH.
I would appreciate if you would transfer these memorials (Pearl and Imogene) to me. I am new to find-a-grave so please advise if I need to make any additional steps to do this. Thank you
Dear Brenda and Pete.
Would you be so kind in transferring the following memorials to me as long as they are non relatives of yours. Memorial # 120927671 for Ira McFaddin, Memorial # 120927729 for Almeda (Fagan) McFaddin and Memorial # 120927781 for Dorothy McFaddin. Mr. and Mrs. McFaddin are great Uncle and Aunt to my husband Robert P. Fagan, and a cousin to their daughter Dorothy.
Thank you in advance for considering transferring all 3 memorials

I have asked you on two different occasions to please remove the link between this man and my aunt and uncle. They are not his parents. My Aunt Dot and Uncle Russ had NO children. This man is not their son.
Links removed; thanks for the corrections! Sorry for the slow response.

|Cheryl Young||RE: Daisy & Ewing Rogers|
Thank you very much for finding this information. I am most grateful to you. If you find any other, please let me know. I really appreciate it.
Thank you very much for finding the information for my ancestors George Morris Lamb and his wife Martha (Mattie) Cecelia Perry Lamb. I think that their daughter, Daisy Hannah Lamb Rains Rogers purchased the graves when her husband, Guy Rains died in 1908. She remarried to Ewing Rogers and they moved to Washington state. I don't know if any others from the Lamb family are buried there. Daisy's younger brother, Walter M. Lamb died about 1916 in the military. He might be buried there too. He was born pm 21 September 1884. The other 3 sisters Hattie, Effie and Jeanette all married and moved to other states. The sister of George Morris, Sarah (Sadie) Elizabeth Lamb Dodge married Leslie Dodge and they both moved to Rock Island, Illinois. They may also be buried in Chippiannock. Sarah Elizabeth Lamb Dodge died 20 Jul 1931. I don't know when Leslie Dodge died. Even George Morris Lamb's mother, Sarah Elizabeth Rollins Lamb died in Rock Island. She died 19 November 1913. So if you know about any of their graves I would sincerely appreciate it.
