|Amy||Question about Billy Church|
Hi Robert and Mabel,
My name is Amy and I'm trying to find ancestors on my father's side. I saw that you took a picture of Billy Church's grave, who died in 1977. Do you know if this is the same Billy Church who married Laura Preston in West Virginia in 1953? The dates seem to match up but I can't find any records for either Billy or Laura after the wedding date. If you have any information at all, that would be so helpful.

I know it's been some years--2009--since you posted info to Find a Grave about Mary Dickey and her husband, John Amos. The bio mentions Mary Amos's mother, Samantha Thomas. I have been at a dead end trying to find Samantha's parents. At age 6, she was living with a couple named Broshears. My guess is that she was an out-of-wedlock child passed around to relatives of relatives. I don't know if you are able to give me any leads to finding her origins, but if you have any clues, I'd appreciate your guidance.
Samantha was my great-great grandmother.

|Julie Davis||Sarah Arbuckle Coombs|
Hello Robert and Mabel. Thank you for adding Sarah's memorial for me to find. In my search up my family tree of the Tolonoway Coombs family, Sarah was the first wife of Andrew Jackson Coombs. She married Andrew on Sep 1, 1853 in Jefferson County, IN.---Would you add that info to her memorial?--- I don't know why she died so young or if they had children. His 2nd wife was Susannah Arbuckle (Sarah's cousin), my gr gr grandmother. Thank you.
