I enjoy singing in 15 concerts a year with the Singing Women of Texas, the Salado Community Chorus, and the church choir at the First Baptist Church of Belton. October 10, 2002

BELTON -- Jerry W. Gregory, 67, of Belton died Wednesday, Oct. 9, in a Temple hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with the Rev. Lewis Bernard, the Rev. R.A. Hill, the Rev. W.A. McCann and the Rev. Bob Miller officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mr. Gregory was born in Duncan, Okla., to Walter William and Nora Mae Bernard Gregory. He had lived in Bell County since 1958. He owned and operated Jerry Gregory Roofing and was a partner with Star-Gregory Roofing in Temple and Barnhart Supply in Austin. He married Barbara Nell Wilson on March 2, 1951, in Fort Worth. He was the founding president of Texas Roofing Contractors Association of Texas and a member of Knob Creek Masonic Lodge and the Assembly of God church.
Survivors are his wife, Barbara Gregory of Belton; two sons, Jerry Don Gregory and Ricky Wayne Gregory, both of Belton; a daughter, Paula Jean Golden of Belton; two brothers, Tommy Gregory of Roanoke and David Gregory of Belton; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to the Pleasant Hill Children's Home in Fairfield.

Date of death is listed as Aug. 5, 1997 ... his obituary reads October 9, 2002.

On this cemetery I went by a master list of burial names and dates. Did not realize how incorrect that list was.
