Libby, Thank you for the Thanksgiving message. I had been off of here for a few days getting computer repaired. Hoping you and your family had a blessed Thanksgiving and wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas. Love and hugs always, Angel

So the bio is correct? Thanks!
|Louis Mata||RE: Bob Welch|
Thanks for that info. Do you know what city exactly he died in? I took my info from Wikipedia. If you know for sure which city and county he died in, please send the info to email@example.com and they'll correct it.
Thank you so much!
|Timothy Shaw||Robert Clifton Tune, Jr.|
Elizabeth - I see now, that your memorial for Robert C. Tune isn't linked to a cemetery, and that the one I entered for him in Mullins Hill is redundant. Because Robert's ashes are scattered in Mullins Hill and he has a marker there, would you want to edit your memorial, to show Mullins as his resting place? If do that, I'd just remove the extra listing. Best wishes, Tim Shaw
|Timothy Shaw||RE: Robert C. Tune|
When visiting Mullins Hill just before Memorial Day, I had the pleasure of meeting three members of your family who had come to maintain the Tune family's area and place Flags on the the graves of those who were veterans. I was shown the marker for Robert C. Tune which I had missed seeing before, perhaps because in tall grass. Robert has a military plaque at ground level, about four places to the right of the stone for Frank McKinley Tune.
I have mapped all of the veterans' graves that I know of in Mullins, and hope to organize an annual Boy Flag Placement by Scouts, for the last Saturday in May. I would also like to convince a Life Scout to coordinate some much needed physical improvements for this cemetery, as his Eagle project.
So far, Robert and Frank are the only members of your family who I have learned once served in the military. If you know of any other veterans buried in Smyrna and would care to share those names with me, I would find and include their graves, on the list of late servicemen to be recognized during Flag Placements.

Can't remember if I've spoken with you in the past, but your name is familiar, probably as I've seen it at this website.
I'd love to swap Tune information with you. I've been documenting the Tunes for about 11 years now. My Findagrave member # is 46777289 and my Tune database at Rootsweb is at this link...
Your Frank McKinley Tune's line goes back to our common ancestors Travis and wife Frances Tune of Halifax County, Virginia.
Frank's 2nd great grandfather, Lewis Tune was the brother of my William Tune, both sons of Travis. By any chance do you know where Lewis & wife Nancy Nunnelee Tune are believed to be buried? I've searched every book resource I've come across for Rutherford county, and cannot locate them.
Hope to hear back from you. You can email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org if you like.
Gloria J. Tune
