Do you want a memorial transferred to your care? I transfer freely, (and out of guidelines,) as long as I have no connection to the memorial. If you don't intend to thank me for transferring a memorial, don't bother asking.

If I take a volunteer photo for you, it is yours to do with as you wish. Volunteers are doing you a favor! Please remember to thank every volunteer who helps you out.

Good genealogists always document their sources. If you use a grave photo I have taken, please credit me as the source.

I went back and looked at the 3 adjacent sections with Joyce family members. There was no marker for your cousin. The only Lucy Joyce present was an infant (1870-1872). Sorry!

Thanks for the identification of the Civil War stone! I've merged the two memorials into one, as suggested.

RE: Hello
I do not know where unmarried Sophia Weber is buried in Southside Cemetery. Perhaps we will have to find the Sexton at the cemetery as he could direct us to her grave. He is sometimes hard to catch in his office but he is very cooperative about locating graves. I can stop the next time I am in Pontiac and let you know what I find out. Thanks for your wonderful help in taking pictures of these stones. Arlene

Lucy Joyce, wife of Albert Green Joyce
There was no marked grave for a Lucy Joyce in CA-B-73. However, the adjacent plot (CA-B-96) also contains members of the Joyce family and I did not catalog that section at the time. I will be back at the cemetery in 2-3 weeks and will look at section 96 then.

Hi Pam,

Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to visit the cemetery and take the photos of the headstone for Gary Brauman's online memorial. The pictures look great. Your time and effort is greatly appreciated!

sorry, I've been involved with several health issues for me and my husband. Not done yet, but wanted to get back to you. Your data about the four Hollaway brothers seems very apt to our skimpy information and I suspect my husband John and you are distant relatives. I would appreciate any further information you may have. The parts of his family who had actual personal data have disconnected from us. I can try to contact others in the family who may have more information, if you want me to. You may be contacted by Lee Bailleu or Martha Oczkowski, both other Hollaway genealogists and they may have more information. I will share anything I have.
