Bio and Links
Bio Photo My researching of family began, after the birth of my grandson Max in 1997, when my daughter-in-law gave me a version of Family Tree Maker. As a child I always loved mysteries. I read my mother's Ellery Queen novels, watched Perry Mason episodes and my favorite board game was Clue. I always thought how much fun it would be to work as a detective. I guess, in my own way, I do.

I firmly believe that our ancestors deserve more than just dates on their memorials. It is because of that philosophy that I try to add as much of the information that is available to me. Thank you for either your help or your understanding when I fall short.

The surnames I am searching and recording from my paternal side are:
Gibson, Keller, Miller, Ploehs, Reed and Walkinshaw
& from my maternal side, they are:
Beamer, Cunningham, Nelson, Peterson, Park, Parke, Parks, Perrell, Snow and Wiseman

For those who wonder...
Why the number of memorials managed is higher than the number of memorials created?
This is due to some generous F*A*G contributors who decided to transfer some of their memorials to myself and others.
Thank you...
I feel honored to be one of the recipients entrusted to care for these postings.

East Springfield Cemetery, Jefferson County, Ohio
Hi Marcia,
There are some duplications of memorials and a incorrect cemetery entry. Your 2014 memorials of Albaughs---Avis Isabelle, Franklin, George, Leonard, Mark, and Sarah---These folks are not buried in East Springfield Cemetery, Jefferson County, Ohio plus there are memorials already created for them.
In the Amsterdam Cemetery, Carroll County, Ohio, memorials and headstone photographs were created in 2007 for George, Leonard, Avis Isabelle. Please check that site.
In Fairview Cemetery, Jewett, Harrison County, Ohio is Franklin whose memorial was created in 2013. Please check that site.
In West Lawn Cemetery, Canton, Stark County, Ohio is Mark and Sarah. There memorials were created before yours in 2013. Please check that site.
Thanks,
Camille

RE: Correction
Thank you so much. Elizabeth & George Moninger moved with father-in-law Daniel Shuster to Tuscarawas (now Carroll County) Ohio abt. 1811. In Ohio & in the Shuster family, Moninger is frequently spelled Morninger. After Elizabeth's death, several of their children returned to Washington County, PA, some stayed in Ohio, etc., but this branch sort of fell between the cracks so there is a fair amount of misinformation on the Internet on them. Thanks again.

Elizabeth Shuster Moninger
Your date of death is way off and is now showing up as a source in Ancestry. Unfortunately, most of my stuff isn't accessible at the moment, but my recollection is she passed abt. 1830. The Red Book includes her mother's will dated in 1830 leaving property to Eliza's heirs. She died intestate and her estate was probated.

RE: Admonishment
The issue had been resolved. Let the merging of the memorials "be a clue should you not realize this fact" that duplicate memorials are not allowed on the site. Have a nice afternoon.

Elizabeth Allbaugh transfer
Hello Marcia,

I have transferred Elizabeth's memorial as you requested. I have also created a memorial for CORP H Allbaugh, who I believe to be Elizabeth's husband, but have not been able to confirm.

Many Thanks--@ngel #47774099
