My researching of family began, after the birth of my grandson Max in 1997, when my daughter-in-law gave me a version of Family Tree Maker. As a child I always loved mysteries. I read my mother's Ellery Queen novels, watched Perry Mason episodes and my favorite board game was Clue. I always thought how much fun it would be to work as a detective. I guess, in my own way, I do.|
I firmly believe that our ancestors deserve more than just dates on their memorials. It is because of that philosophy that I try to add as much of the information that is available to me. Thank you for either your help or your understanding when I fall short.
The surnames I am searching and recording from my paternal side are:
Gibson, Keller, Miller, Ploehs, Reed and Walkinshaw
& from my maternal side, they are:
Beamer, Cunningham, Nelson, Peterson, Park, Parke, Parks, Perrell, Snow and Wiseman
For those who wonder...
Why the number of memorials managed is higher than the number of memorials created?
This is due to some generous F*A*G contributors who decided to transfer some of their memorials to myself and others.
I feel honored to be one of the recipients entrusted to care for these postings.

You asked me to transfer the Toliver memorials to you, but I am related to them too. I would appreciate any info you want to share.

Thank you also. I am like you. if I make a mistake, it is an innocent one, but I still want to know about it so I can at least try to fix it. Again,m thanks for understanding. A fellow Findagrave member.

I noticed you said she was 1 of 4 children. I have 5 listed for Enoch & Eliz - Sarah, Victoria, Almeda, Rufus ., and Fielden B. Have I added 1 child to the wrong parents? I used the 1860, 1870 1nd 1880 Census, but I could still be wrong. thank you for all the work you have done on this site.

You are welcome Marcie, anytime.

I transfer Margaret to you. Her father Morris Albaugh and my 4th great-grandfather, John Peter Albaugh were brothers. So you can see we are related. Take Care, Richard
