You can find more information on the Churchill family in "History of the Early Settlers of Sangamon County Illinois." by John Carroll Power and his wife. Additional material by Grace D. Bales. Springfield, IL, 1970. pp. 198-200. You can obtain this book by inter-library loan. It has 4 children listed.

I have been working on the Hurd families for some time now as they are in our family tree.
Would you be willing to transfer the memorial of
Carrie E Hurd Hill over to me? I can link her to sibblings, ,parents etc.

Thanks

Please correct this mistake
There seems to be a mistake on my great-grandmothers Find-A-Grave entry. I was reviewing some of my information sources while working on my ancestry pages. On Find-A -Grave my great grandmother's headstone has been replaced with that of a Wm H Black. I know her headstone was there when I originally looked for it about a year ago. Her name is Pauline Paulsen. The other information there is correct, although I have more that I would like to see added.

I would be delighted to keep up her page if you would like to turn it over to me.

Sherman T. Smith
Ida -

Thank you for letting me maintain Charles Smith - would you also let me maintain Sherman T. Smith? He was my great Uncle and I was very fond of him. His Find A Grave number is 9567379. My member number is 48040871. Tamara Weaver. Thank you for all you have done! I hope this helps in a little way.

Maintenance of a Grave site
Dear Ida,

I have been volunteering to maintain some of my grand parent's grave memorials and would like to offer to do this for Charles Daniel Smith. If you feel this is a good thing - here is the information. Charles Smith is my great grandfather.

Isabelle H. [West] Frater
Greetings,

I do hope that this is reaching you at a good time.

It was discovered awhile ago that there are two memorials for her. Yours is Find A Grave# 11163472 and it is also the oldest. The owner of the newer one has sent me a message. He wants to transfer all of his information into the older memorial owned by you.

We are hoping that you would be willing to transfer her memorial into my care. I think it was I that found this error while making a Riddle Family connection to the Frater family.

I am so hoping to be able to see, or to be told, what is written on her monument. It seems to have a low pixel count and can't be enlarged. I wonder if anyone has surveyed this cemetery and written down inscriptions

Thank you and best wishes, Martin S. Burrell
