I love Find-a-Grave. What a great tool for genealogists.|
My current project - photographing the cemeteries closest to my part of southeast Georgia. I'm also very slowly gathering obituaries at my local library and posting them. They contain so much information.
I hope my efforts are providing information for people who, like me, don't have physical access to the burial place of their relatives.
If you find I've opened a memorial page in Find-a-Grave for your relative and would like me to transfer management to you - just make your request using the "Edit" tab on the memorial page for the person you wish me to transfer.
Mine - Drew, Allison, Smith, Reed, Caldwell, Barclay, Winn, Clark
Husband's - Woodard, Martin, Register, Wells, Powell, Bishop, Sanford, Thomas

I would appreciate it if I could use the headstone photo of Mary Ann Cason in my Ancestry Family Tree. If I find additional photos you have taken do you also mind if I use those photos.
Thank you for your dedicated service.

Kezia Cone Sheffield Hagen DeLoach
Find A Grave Memorial# 68580971
A bit of information:
Per the War of 1812 pension file for William DeLoach, Keziah states her #1 marriage was to Simeon Sheffield who died in Bulloch County on March 11, 1837; her #2 marriage was to James Hagen, who died in Bulloch County on November 15, 1855. In that file, it does confirm her marriage date to William DeLoach of May 6, 1858.

Would you please add James's Mother to his memorial? Ruth Hendricks Hodges #68401003, If I do, it will delete the Father and Spouse. I will greatly appreciate it.

Hi I just wanted to let you know that you accidentally made two pages/entries for Alex in Macedonia Baptist Cemetery. He has a military tombstone as well as a regular one. Thanks!

Floyd Murry is my father's half brother. Thanks to your posting his memorial, I now have "dates" for Aunt Wilma, as well as many other family names. I sincerely appreciate your effort.

I was surprised to see so much information about my great grandmother Mitchell on this memorial. However you came across it, thank you! I looked for her grave site for a long time - via the Internet, as I don't live anywhere near Georgia! I'm so glad that her information is on the web site.

|Sharon Doty Wickham||Smiths|
Just want to thank you for your efforts with the Smiths. I am directly descended from Ebenezer B Smith, Ed Lee Smith's father. Ed is actually Ebenezer, but can't blame him for the name shortening! I am directly descended from Ed Lee's sister Sarah Amizon Smith. Feel free to look them up on Ancestry. I have tin types of Ebenezer Sr , wife, and a photo of Sarah Amizon. Thanks again, this info was really helpful to me!

|Betty Sheely||Warner & Wilhelmina Thorpe|
Thank you for all you do for family's and thank you so very much for transferring the Memorials for Warner & Wilhelmina Thorpe to me.
Your pictures are amazing - they tell a story. It is great to have several photos of the headstones, esp when a really close closeup is needed to compliment the "full size" picture. The pictures of the plot showing the layout and headstones completes the story. Your series of photos are worth a thousand words - thank you.
