IMPORTANT:
Before adding a memorial, PLEASE check to see if the Cemetery already exists.

Also, PLEASE, PLEASE before adding a memorial, check to see if the deceased has been added previously. I have found tons of duplicates in Rice Field Cemetery, Franklin County, Tennessee. If you add a NEW memorial, could you please leave a token of some kind? Everyone deserves to be recognized.....It's horrible to click on a memorial and not find at least one token. Thank YOU!!

If I've made errors or you wish to have an entry removed or transferred, please let me know and I will gladly accommodate.

The following is something with a lot of meaning and I thought you all might like to read it, also.

Dear Ancestor
Your tombstone stands among the rest neglected and alone. The name and date are chiselled out on polished, marbled stone.

It reaches out to all who care; It is too late to mourn. You did not know that I exist; you died and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you in flesh, in blood, in bone.

Our blood contracts and beats a pulse; entirely not our own. Dear Ancestor, the place you filled one hundred years ago spreads out among the ones you left who would have loved you so. I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew that someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you.
