Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love this web site, I love reading what people have written about their loved ones. Many have touched my heart. My dad passed away in 1992 and then my mother passed away in 2003.
When we were kids my mom would take us to Beavertown Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio. It is a small cemetery, and all around it was a barbed wire fence and all along the fence there were blackberry bushes. We would pick the berries so mom could make homemade jelly. Even on a hot day it was nice and cool. Always smelled of cut grass and fresh flowers. I loved to go there.
When I'm in a cemetery even today it seems like time has stood still. Everything is familiar the peaceful feeling, the same smells, the cool breeze.

Thanks to my Mom for my love of family and for those that came before us. My Grandma for telling me when I was a little girl not to stand on her Daddy's grave. I still stand off to the side as she taught me to do.

Thank you Grandma for all of your help. Without you we wouldn't know where we came from.

My roots are from the following family names: Buehler, Stein, Ankeney, Fogwell, and Greene.

Charlotte Hesch Spohr
How kind of you and your family to take such a loving interest in Charlotte! And thank you for not ignoring the condition of her grave and contacting the authorities who took care of the situation.

Charlotte is a younger sister to my great-great grandmother, Mary Hesch Gnau ~ they are two of the seven children of Joseph and Charlotte Horst Hesch. Joseph and Charlotte are also buried at Calvary.

Briefly, Charlotte married Frederick Spohr, son of Emanuel and Elizabeth Schuster Spohr, in Dayton in 1877. Together they had 5 children: Mary, Philomena, Anna Maria, Charles and Fred.

I have traveled to Ohio many times to visit the cemeteries where my family members are buried to photograph their headstones; I have been to Calvary twice. However, it is only within the past week that I discovered that Charlotte and Frederick are also buried there, so another trip is now necessary!

Thank you again for your kindness and concern ~ it is much appreciated by all my family!

You should Call ME
I know we haven't kept in best contact...Thats my fault. I'm really bad about that kind of thing. I'm so caught up in work and kayla and other things that are going on I let myself get away from myself. Since we have talked last I have moved to Baltimore, Maryland. What a big move for me. I have been planted in Ohio my whole life and I pack up and leave one day. I needed a new start in my life. There is so much more to talk about just give me a call so we can catch up. 443-822-9230 I hope to talk to you soon.....LOVE YOU!

Hope
hi
Thanks...and you are right. She is with me everyday even thoght I can't see her. She was an amazing mom and friend. Sometimes I just wish if that night had to happen that it wouldn't have been such a public issue. I understand with the idenity mixup that made it very public. I sometimes feel like I have to stay strong around everyone since everyone has seen the wreck or the book or the pictures fromthat night. I thank you though for writing me such nice words....and encouraging me also...thanks. Sometimes it means more coming from someone who isn't close to the situtation....thanks it means a lot to me.

Bob Harrison
Hi there
We met at Jody's funeral, I'm her brother Bob. I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful thing you have done on here. I also liked the picture of our father. I was only about 12 when he left us and only saw him twice after that when I was on my way to California. I'm so glad Jody and I got to spend some time together when she came to Vegas for a convention. I was going on vacation to their house 2 weeks after she had her anuerism. I'm only sorry I didn't keep in touch with her more over the years. From what I saw from her friends and family, she was a very special lady.
Thanks again for what you have done. If you want to write Kristi has my e-mail address.
