Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

I want to thank all of those whom take time out of their lives volunteering to take headstone photos. It is greatly appreciated.

RE: Frankhouse's
Hi Jared
I am not related to the Frankhouse's but my ex-husbands' family is related through his 1st great grand Aunt Mary Jeanne "Jane" LeVasseur who married John Jacob Frankhouse 24 Oct 1893. She died in Feb 1926 and he married Clara Ellen Pierson in Oct 1926
when John Frankhouse was 50 yrs old and Clara was 22 yrs old. John Frankhouse and Jane LeVasseur had no children that I have found but John and Clara had 11 children.

Flaget Gonyea Photo
I do not believe the photo on Flaget Gonyea's grave is correct. The dates are not matching up. You may wish to check.
Thank you.

Louis Charles Hughson - info
I see on his death date you wrote Feb 12 but it is Feb 14. Just wanted to point out so you could change if you want. The stone shows it correct too. Thanks for all your hard work!

Pelkey grave markers
I was out at St. Mary's/Mt. Calvary today. I found some Pelkeys but not the two you requested. I didn't have enough time to walk the whole cemetery. I'll look again next time I'm, out there.

I don't know how much you know about St. Mary's. It has no identifying markers for grave location and there are no sexton records available either. There are many stones broken and/or upended. Luckily its probably got less than 2,000 graves because you just have to walk it all and hope to see what you're trying to find.
