I enjoy the history of forgotten people, who might not otherwise have had any recognition of who they were. Sometimes, the bio's do contain historical footnotes to someone else who was famous.
Photo: On left, myself; on right, famed Author & Auto Historian Lorin Sorenson, who wrote many books on Ford Motor Company. Photo was taken in December 2002, at the Henry Ford Estate in Dearborn. It was a real honor to meet him, and obtain his autographs for my book collection.

I see that we both left a birthday flowers for Jan Berry. (I love jan&dean) they deserve to be in the rock and roll hall of fame along with Wolfman Jack 11176976 I will never go to the hall of fame until they are both in. I have been to the Henry Ford museum and I loved it. Could you please leave a flower for my friend Cynthia Gillig Stone 75864427 ( I sponsor her) her stage name was Echo Valley and she was from Saginaw. Hi, Joel, it's been a while since I've contacted you, and I might have even asked you this before b ut it seems the older I get, the worse my memory gets!
I was wondering perhaps if you might know how Gaetano Merenda died? I have asked Angelo before but I don't think much family history was passed to him. He was very young, I thought maybe this might be related to a mine accident. I also would like to know how his wife managed to raise the kids on her own. What a task, especially for that particular time in history.
Thanks for all the work you do on family histories. It's so very important. I have Gene Louie (Luigi)Merando and his wife, Angela, listed on my site. In case you don't remember my connection to the family, Angelo Merando and I have a son, Richard Alan (Merando) Hopper and two Grandchildren, Chelsea Elizabeth Rose and Braydon Alan Hopper. Oh, and yes, almost forgot, I have a picture of the ship Gaetano took to the US and list of passengers. I assume your relative, his wife, came over with him, I need to check the log to find out. I transferred the memorial over to you to do as you will I know that you and Matt were good friends I always had wanted him to be friends with me too and he did not want to be I never stopped thinking of him and when he died I felt bad about the way he passed I have been to visit his grave a few times if you talk or see his wife you can tell her Matt has someone who cares about him looking out after him That's great that he had a friend like you that cares | | | Belman

wm. b chase has daughter (mrs. P hartman) that is involved heavily w/american cancer society. her husbands name is e.jan hartman don't know any more. bill chase II is dead. cancer probably 2001. funeral much later at church of mariner in detroit. chase wife georgianna was alive in 1998 or 99 because i met her.
