Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi I've been interested in Genealogy for a very long time. Historic graveyards and locations now fascinate me but as a child they frightened me. I'm really not sure why I'm drawn to them now but many "speak" to me. I am more than willing to take pictures of your family's markers if they are located in St. Mary's County, Maryland. I also like using the Saint Mary's County GIS system to "take" aerial photos of places. So if you need my help feel free to send an email. I intend to add individuals from graveyards I have walked, as well as those found in the book "Death's and Burials in St. Mary's County Maryland" by Leona Cryer.

Hi Jolie I was at the cemetery today 3-23-14 and took some pictures. The cross under the cedar tree I believe is Mary Murcek. Hope this helps locate her.

I can go see if I can find an obituary for him if that would be helpful?

No sorry did not get that one. If some one goes looking for you it will be in the left 1/2 of the cemetery. (if you have your back to the main road and are facing the fountain in the middle of the cemetery (that left)).

Possibly. I took about 8,000 photos in the past week. About 1,500 at the Hallowell cemetery. (about 1/3 of the cemetery) I will check this weekend to see if I got it or not.

I would like to thank you so much for taking the pictures of my parents graves in such a short time. I think I only requested them yesterday. And a special thanks for the photo of the military plaque - I had totally forgotten about that. Now that you have jogged my memory I do remember that it took my mother quite some time to get that done. I think it is a wonderful thing for you to go out of your way to do such a kindness for a complete stranger.

Thank you from the very core of my heart!!!!
