I have always been interested in family history, but the "BUG" didn't really bite til about 25 years ago. I volunteer at the local historical archives & am the secretary there. I enjoy small antiques, figurines, books & such like that.
I enjoy photography & really like taking photos of gravestones for people.
I am married with two grown & married children & two grandsons & a granddaughter.
The surnames that are in my 5 generation chart are Mayes, Wells, Chaney, Dungey, Pirkle, O'Neal, Trowbridge, Glyn, Moyers, Moore, Bennett, Adams, Thurston, Wright, Hughes & Murray. Farther back are Frost, Swearingen, Butt, Heath, Tennant, Dunwell, Peebles, House, Doolittle, Coulter, Koonce, Bolling, Rolf, Lincoln, etc...
My husbands' ancestral surnames are Smith (try researching that one!), Stanley, Bogle, West, Womack, Akers, Muntz, King, Brothers, Thompson, Alexander, Morton, McEwen, McNaught, McKnight Blackburn, Elkins, Blanton, Rice, Seats, Oliver, Judd, Flete, Lattimore, Hyde, Mainwaring, Caldwell, Sweetenham, Venables etc...

 | Birdwhistells Thank you so much! I have wondered for years where they were buried. Yesterday I decided to look for large Cemeteries in Franklin. I looked at the photo requests and saw you had responded to some requests with good information. Then I read your Bio and decided to write you. You have made my Day. Carole | | | Carole Lee Alexander
 | Lewis M. and Elizabeth Birdwhistell Hi Ellen,
I am hoping you might be able to help me. I am looking for the Cemetery location of my gr uncle Lewis McMurty Birdwhistell who died Dec 11, 1987 and his wife Elizabeth Peffer Birdwhistell who died Apr 9, 1983. Both died in Franklin, Simpson County. They moved out of the Mercer/Anderson area of Kentucky and folks don't remember where they are buried.
Thank you so much, Carole Lee Alexander #47288670 | | | Perry Brantley
