RE: Claude Edwards 43429366
I have yet to find where Moses and Almira were buried. Almira was b 31 MY 1861 - d 19 Aug 1932 in New Milford, PA I have her death record, says she was buried in Downsville, NY. I have searched every cemetery in that area that is on line but with no luck. She was a widow in 1930 Delaware Co., living with McKinley, Rosa, 3 of her(Rosa)children and their son Claude. They could be buried in Riverview Cemetery in Hancock, which is only on find-a-grave, and not all recorded. I have been searching in the Delaware Co. site.

I'm only guessing, but it is probably the way the name could have been spelled in "Dutch" before the translation.

RE: Peabody's 100398685
hi- i'm a peabody descendant but not directly related to this family. the nathan hale cemetery collection is available on family search. that is where it lists the parents and 3 dau as buried together. perhaps the parents names are unreadable due to longer exposure to the elements. elizabeth holway peabody's parents are Find A Grave# 100396704 and 100396490, which are under your name. perhaps you will be better able to interpret a damaged stone now that you know what names you are looking for. if you are able to make a site for augustus and elizabeth, let me know and i can link him to his MA family. good luck, cheryl

RE: Ann C. Scofield 155911295
Your premise is 100% correct. Ann and Julia are sisters. Thanks for locating this grave marker. I knew that Julia and her husband were in Hillside from their obits, but Ann's doesn't say where she was buried. I am sending you Ann's obituary via e-mail.

I have been unable to prowl cemeteries in a while due to my obligations at home caring for an elderly relative. I miss it.

James McClaughry
Thanks for taking the picture of Lt. Col. James McClaughry's grave in Little Britain. His second wife, Agnes Humphrey McClaughry, was my fourth great grand aunt. Her brother, George, was my fourth great grandfather.

Jo E Eternal Thanks

Saying thank you does not begin to say how grateful I am.

I have tried for years to find out what happened to this man when he arrived in America.

You've solved the puzzle, complete with photographs.

Again thank you so so much.
