You have nee Lengel on this memorial. I have a Levi Dipprey on 1850 m to Lydia Langel. I was wondering where you obtain the information on the nee: Lengel. I looked a lot of times at this memorial and did not see the note on the previous name was Lengel....this might be a breakthrough on my research for her.

Charles & Emma Schaeffer
Hello, would you kindly consider transferring Charles & Emma Schaeffer to my control? They're my 2x Great-Grandparents buried at Bern Cemetery. I already have Charles' father, James and Emma's parents.

Thank you

Mary Lloyd at Oxford Cemetery

I don't know if you are interested in this family or just photoed the stone and added it. I have added what I think is her death certificate. If you concur, the birth, death and maiden name are available.

Should you find this not to be the death certificate, or I have overstepped my bounds with your memorial, let me know and I'll delete it.

Good luck with your research.

RE: Bridget Healy, Drumacoo
Thanks for coming back to me so quickly Wayne!

I understand that there was only one Healy family living in Drumacoo about that time so there must be a connection there. However if it is the same Bridget, her parents would have been Patch (Patrick) and Sadie (Sarah)(nee Brennan). Michael would have been her brother.

If you could send me on any info that you might have, my uncle and I would really appreciate it. My email address is

If we are talking about the same Bridget, my uncle and I would be delighted to send you any information we have also.

Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you.

Bridget Healy, Drumacoo
Dear BDR,

I am interested in your post to Joseph Richardson some time ago (Dec 2011) re 'Calby at Holy Cross' and in particular to your mention of Bridget Healy of Drumacoo.

My uncle and I are very keen in researching our own family tree and I think there may be a connection to the Bridget Healy you have mentioned. My family still reside in Drumacoo and I understand that the Healys have lived in the same area for at least 8 generations, if not more.

My great grandfather, Michael Healy (born 1871) had 1 brother (Martin) and 2 sisters (Bridget and we think the second was Mary). We know that both sisters emigrated to the US.

Michael remained in the family home and married Bridget Kilkelly of Kinvara. They had 5 children: Mary, Kathleen, twins Peter and Paul (Paul died at birth) and Sarah (my grandmother). Sarah married Bill Joe Coen (RIP)and still lives in Drumacoo with my uncles and their married families.

Martin bought a farm in Lavallyconnor.

I would be grateful if you could advise if the Bridget you referred to might be the sister of Michael - if so, she would be my greatgrandaunt and we would be delighted to learn more. I would also appreciate any information that you might be able to give to help expand our family tree.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Christiana's child
Christiana Jung(Young) Leech

I am very new to tracing my family tree. I am Christiana Jung Leech's 5x great granddaughter through her son, Maximilian.

I am interested in everything about my family. I have found some public records about Christiana, excerpts from her diary. Notes about her brother William and his appointment as Botanist to the King of England. Do you have any copies of the flower prints he drew?

I am guessing we are distantly related. I leave in the Philadelphia area and hope to visit Arlington cemetary where the Young's are buried soon.

Do you have any advice, guidance for me as I am new at this. Thank you
