John Minton Jordan (1852-1923)
Mr Jordan I am trying to locate the full identity of my grandfather. His name was Leroy Jordan. He had a child (my father) with Nora Wycoff Jeffers in Terre Haute,In in 1926. I have identified my Jordan ancestry via DNA analysis that matches a 3rd cousin. We both have the same great-great grand father Elijah Jordan (1806-1855)of Franklin county, Il. One of his sons was John Milton Jordan. His other sons would have been too old to conceive my grandfather Leroy Jordan. Are you aware of a Leroy Jordan associated with John Milton Jordan?

Thanks for your clarification. As you well know and and for sure have experienced, "wrong" names or dates can be put on a stone and can and will add to the confusion that already is in the brains of family historians/genealogists. (Ha Ha) Larry

Well, after all this time I have still not received any photo requests. Kinda miss it. I don't have those emails you sent me from before. Don't know quite what to do. Any suggestions on who to contact?
