Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy since 1979. I co-authored the Morgan County Cemetery books in the 1980's. I have published a book on my Compton family and my Lynn family. Also several publications for the Morgan County Genealogical Society.

I have been married for 58 years. We have two children and five grandchildren living and one that died at age two years and four great-grandchildren.

I enjoy scrapbooking, cemeteries, photography and antique shopping.

If I have entered incorrect information or you have something to add to a memorial, please let me know via the SAC on the memorial. I will be glad to transfer memorials to a member according to FindAGrave guidelines. Send your requests via the SAC on the memorial you want transferred; otherwise I will not transfer.

I love FindAGrave. It is a great way to honor those that are no longer with us and preserve history for future generations.

Please visit baby Zack's memorial and leave him a flower. I miss him so much.

Thank You!
Cap'n Andy is a legend in my family! Thank you for transferring him. I look forward to going to the old home place soon and viewing his grave. Apparently he was quite a raconteur (along with his brother Col. Joe) and I'm sure he reminisced about the War with many. Our family notes say Cap'n Andy called himself "an un-Reconstructed Rebel." There are several other family members of mine in Morgan County that I'll be sending you transfer requests for in the future. Thank you again!! Fran Quarles

Captain Andy Patterson 33457505
Hi again - I would like to take you up on your offer to transfer Captain Andy #33457505 to me. He is my 2x great grandfather. I'd also like his 2nd wife Sarah Louise #33457647 and their two infant daughters Priscilla Patterson 33457687 and Margaret Jane Patterson 33457714. Thank you! Fran Quarles

RE: Orr #2 Cemetery
Ok great! I just posted the picture. It was still quite white marble so the name is a bit tough to see but hopefully it's clear enough!

Will you please UN link William & Lucy as parents of Nancy? I am assuming, I was the person who asked you to attach them in the first place & I apologize. This may very well be A Nancy McDonald, it was spelled wrong so many ways...McDonnell, McDaniel, etc etc, BUT this particular Nancy was not the daughter of William & Lucy. Thank you.

RE: Mary Wilhite Johnson/Henry Thomas Johnson
I have finished my research on this family.

I am interested in Phillip Mulky and wife. For various reasons I am looking at him/his wife as an ancestor in one of my lines.

We have had a mtdna test done, and I am looking for a direct female line. Janet and Deborah are the only ones possible. My attention now is trying to locate and make contact with them.

All other detailed info is on under one of my Family Tree’s named “Milligen”

Generation # 1. Phillip Mulkey III & Mary Pollie

#2. Nancy Mulkey & Abraham Powell

#3. Margaret Mary Powell &
Ezekiel Wilhite

#4. Mary "Bettie Wilhite
& Henry Thomas Johnson

#5. Zenia Johnson & Henry Lynn

#6. "Susie" Annie Ruth
Lynn & Don wiggins

#7. Janet Lee Wiggins &
Norman Feinberg

#7. Deborah Jean (Debby)
Wiggins & Jim Nolan

Orr #2 Cemetery
When making the photos for the Orr family, there was one headstone for William Minor son of H.T and E.O. Lile. b.May 16,1899 d. July 25, 1900.
Not sure if anyone is looking for this random stone but obviously an infant that may be hard to find otherwise.

It can be seen in the far left of the Orr gravesite photos and is a white marble. I have a proper picture of needed.

Londsey Liles
I think I may be related to the Lile/Liles family. My grandfather changed his name on his birth certificate from Lile to Liles and I do not know for sure but his father would have to be Grant Lile whose parents were Mary Belle Sims and James Lile who were from Trinity County Alabama. If you can contact me I need help to figure if this is indeed true or just smoke i do t need.

Yes there is an old fence around it. It is difficult to find if you don't know where to look. I'll send you directions later. It's on private property and you would need to get permission to see it.
The larger cemetery where James Ratliff the son is buried is in front of the house that he built. Most interesting place to visit.
