I have been researching my and Ron's, my husband, families for 30 years. We've walked many graveyards and "dug up" relatives near and far.
Some of my family lines: Jones, Watts, Hammond, Pickens, Wilson, Capron, Adams,Kates, Johnson
Ron's lines: Reece, Nixon, Hazelwood, Eaton, Cooper, Gregory, Briton, Upton/Uptain
Since retiring in 2005, we have lived in a fifth-wheel trailer and traveled most of the year. We have spent much of our time in Texas but not visiting very many cemeteries or courthouse as we used to do on vacations. That is going to change some now.
It is so great to be able to contribute to the work that so many have done to catalog cemeteries and make this great research tool available to those who can't get to far places to see for themselves. It also feels very satisfying to be able to list family members who otherwise are unknown to others.
You are welcome to use for genealogy purposes any headstone or cemetery photos I take. | |

Thank you for linking them. I, too, like to see families joined together. Between this site & Ancestry, I'm surprised that I get anything else done! But I love it!!
