I try to update edits at least once a week, so please don't freak on me if I don't make a change in a day or two. I seldom respond back after an edit, because I would be on the computer all day.|
I record what I can when I can because I believe in promoting access to free genealogy resources. If you find a mistake I will be happy to correct it.

Hello Angel Hunter,
Margaret Sehi Schuhmacher was my great-Great Grandmother. I am, trying to find information on her nephew and niece who ran a resort of some kind on the coast at/near Tillamook. that would be William J Schuhmacher and his sister Alice Schuhmacher, who my mother believes married someone with the last name Jordan. William never m,arried; Alice was divorced with two sons. One died in WWII by a Japanese sniper in the Phillipines and the other died at 18 crawling under a fence with a loaded rifle and accidentally shooting himself.

You have Lewis H. Horton at Lincoln Memorial in Portland OR, death 1940. Realized he is not a match for a burial I am looking for...
Per his obituary, Lewis P. Horton, died March 11, 1932 and is also buried at Lincoln Memorial. He was a Civil War veteran, Co K, 32nd Wisconsin Infantry.
Not sure how you find your information on the burials, but would would appreciate the addition of Lewis P. Horton if he is at Lincoln Memorial.
I am creating a virtual cemetery of members of Meade Post #2, G.A.R. from their original rosters and Lewis is one who is missing from Find A Grave.

I found duplicate memorial pages for Peter and Emma Bartholomew in Michigan, 44633927 & 44634089. The dates of birth and death are exactly the same. I contacted the creator for these two, Yankee Magnolia, and advised that Lincoln Memorial actually has their remains and that the huge monument with their names on it, in Michigan, must be only a cenotaph, a memorial monument, placed by family. Yankee had transferred Emma's memorial page to Maggie O to maintain, and might do the same with Peter's memorial page.
The Hillsboro Argus, July 4, 1929, page 6, has an obituary for Peter Bartholomew, saying "Interment will be in Portland." The Lincoln staff confirmed they actually have the remains for both Peter and Emma in Hyacinth corridor. The ODI lists both Peter and Emma.
You might be contacted by Maggie O regarding the memorial pages for Peter and Emma.
