I am a descendant of Rev. Humphrey Hunter 9304895. His daughter Isabella Hunter 10224916 married James Patton Crockett and is buried in Old Waxhaw cemetery in Lancaster Couunty S.C.. Humphrey Hunter was married to Maryland Jane Ross 12-31-1789. She was the daughter of Dr. George Ross and Isabella Montgomery Ross of Laurens County S.C. She died 6-2-1833 burial unknown. I have tried to get 10224916 linked to her father 9304895 but no luck so far. Humphrey Hunter was a Rev Patriot. Wheeler's history of N.C. page 151-156. DAR Member, Mrs Stanhope Crockett Gale 32705, Humphrey Hunter A060461, is who she joined under. Rev Hunter preached in churches around Charlotte N.C. and in Lancaster, S.C. Hi Tom,
I saw that you had pictures of Mountain Cemetery on Findagrave.com. i was wondering if you can tell me if there is a gravemarker for a Villard Willmont Sloan there. He had a Wife Ruth C. Crow also known as Edna Ruth Crow and there was another wife named Eleanor, That is all i Have. can you maybe check there and let me know. If he is ther I would like to get a photo of his gravemarker.
