Glenn Eberly

The cemetery office told me that they had no record of Glenn. I took a chance and asked for Dora. I found one single stone for both of them. Since it is one grave, I am wondering if Glenn was cremated and buried in Dora's casket? I found several Eberly's together. Did Glenn and Dora have a son, Glenn?

Mishler Photos
If possible can you post the entire family photo of the Mishler's that you used to crop each member. Would be very interested in seeing that! Thank you!

So glad you saved the obit and thank you so much for transcribing it! I have realized that Find A Grave is deleting scanned obits and I have been encouraging people to send emails and ask them to reconsider their policy on posting scanned obits that are out of copyright.

Once again, thank you!

Transfer request
You requested transfer of this memorial:

Elizabeth METZGER, who first married Samuel ULREY and who secondly married Jacob WAGONER.

Please state your relationship please, and help me fill in any blanks that I might have on that line.

She was born in 1806, so I'm guessing that she is "out of guidelines." So, please state your relationship, and why you'd line a transfer. If there's something incorrect on the page, or if you'd like info added, I'll be happy to do that.

Send thru your request again from her page, please, with the info. Also, if you include your email address when you send thru the request, we can communicate by email, directly.

Thanks! :-)

Samuel Arnold 40813223

REF: Samuel Arnold 40813223

Thank you, I'm not sure how Iowa got in there.
From your help I was able to link some of his children to him and his spouse.

Samuel Arnold died in Rockwell Township*, Norton County, KS

The Norcatur zip code, 67653, has segments in both Decatur and Norton Counties including Rockwell Township.
The town of Norcatur is exclusively in Lincoln Township, Decatur County.
The Norcatur Cemetery is exclusively in what was Rockwell Township*, Norton County.
*Rockwell Township was absorbed into the new Center-District 1 Township of Norton County, KS in the 1970s.

Thank you,

William Arthur & Mary C. Freed Montel Picture
Thank you for permission to use their picture in THE REAM TEAM! I believe that pictures, family biographies, obituaries, birth announcements, engagement/wedding/anniversary announcements add so much to family histories.

The Pathfinder
PAINTER and BENDER are one in the same surname. Like RADER it has been spelled differently in different documents. This is something that has happened with many of the German names in the Shenandoah Valley. However, there are BENDERS of English extraction in the area especially around Winchester that should not get confused with the PAINTER-BENDER Germans. I use PAINTER-BENDER to show the difference between the two different BENDER family origins. I hope this clears up the issue for you.

William Arthur Logan picture
Is that Mary Catherine Freed Montel in the picture with William Arthur Logan? Being a distant cousin of Mary Catherine Freed Montel, I would like to use her picture along with the picture of Wm. Arthur Logan in THE REAM TEAM family tree. May I?
