As far back as I can remember I have always liked going to cemeteries. I find them very peaceful. As I go through a cemetery I wonder what kind of life these people led; not just my family, but also their neighbors and acquaintances.

I've also researched my family's genealogy for over 35 yrs. Love to look at "old" stuff - LOL!

Thanks to all who contribute to FindAGrave - I have found several loved ones because of you. Keep up the great work!

This is on the old Wynn homestead of Zealy Moss Wynn My 2nd great grandfather who disappeared about 1857 and was never seen again. This was connected to The Mountain Meadow Massacre.

RE: Wife of Benjamin Franklin Stafford
Hi. Thanks so much for the info. Its really hard to find out anything. Did I mention that I had Mary Stafford's monument (at Mammoth) taken in and re-finished? It looks great. I think I put a picture of it on find-a-grave-if not I will do so now. It has a sweet verse on it that had been unreadable. I also ordered John Greer Deatherage's Civil War Memoirs from the state of Missouri. I have them if you would like them-on the last page he mentions meeting and marrying Mary Stafford after his 1st wife died. My e-mail is Thanks Cecillia

Your great grandpa George Stafford and my great grandma were siblings. She was Louisa Josephine Stafford Phillips. Would love to exchange info with you.

Pierce Relative
Hi Susan,

For the past couple of days, I've been researching my husband's side of the family and came across your page on Andrew J Pierce. You both have a family member in common. Yay! more information to add to my tree. Andrew Pierce is my husband's great grandfather. His grandfather is James Nicholas Pierce, I guess your grandfather's brother. Well, I'm trying to fill in the blanks to see how far back I could go. If you have any information that could be helpful that would be great, vice versa.

Thanks, Audrey
