MS LOGAN
I see you are the only one leaving flowers for J Logan. She was an interesting woman. I met her once when she came to Honey Hollow to purchase a Great Dane from Lina Basquette. It was some afternoon listening to the two retired actresses talk about old times

Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale
Hi LilyPondLane,

I see where you asked Priscilla to update Big Edie's info but she never did. I recently asked her to correct the name but she hasn't so I guess her account is no longer active.

I'm a fan of Grey Gardens, also. Here's some links in case you haven't seen them.

A second documentary: The Beales of Grey Gardens. It's additional footage from the same creators of the original documentary.

You can see it free on Hulu.

Here's 2 web sites with many Beale photos.

RE: Jacqueline Logan
Yes I discovered it and I was a little upset and contacted the person who put in the new one and got it in as famous. I thought it was very rude of him to put it in without contacting either one of us that had worked hard on her site. But we have made up and he is going to try and get another person in greenwood on the famous list. I just get a little upset with Find A Grave that you are immediately put in as famous if you are a movie star. I will leave mine since it has her obituary etc.

I visited Jacqueline Logan's grave site last Wednesday, March 24, 2010. It is so sad that she is actual not buried next to her grandparents that had a family plot. Jacqueline's stone is near the plot, but still about 100 ft. away. I do plan on seeing that the stone is securely attached to the base. It has been moved slightly, probably because of earth movement and weather. I am so happy that I read the Decatur Tribune about Jacqueline. It almost seems that I have known her a long time, even though I never seen her gravesite. Funny thing though, will searching for her gravesite at Greenwood Cemetery, I found a co-worker's grave that I worked with about 15 years at the newspaper back in the 60s and 70s. His name was Mark Hawes. Mark passed away in 1979. We both were journeyman printers in the hot metal days. He was the best that I had ever seen in making up a full page ad, all with metal, backwards and upside down view. He was very skilled. I will visit Jacqueline's gravesite again today to rake around the stone and make sure the area is clean.
She adds so much to this city and she lie there all these years with no fanfare. She deserves more....
