Bio and Links
Bio Photo Ðévil Ki††¥ Ðésigns™ is a name we chose in honor of our little boy kitty, who is still very much alive and well deserving of the nickname!

The people behind the name are Rob & Mary, a couple of 40-something "freaks" from Salisbury, North Carolina. He is a Florida native. She was raised in Alaska, and still thinks Florida winters are "too cold". We started photographing and transcribing cemeteries in 2004, and it's become something of a serious addiction.

We both have an interest in genealogy, photography, (especially cemetery photography) history, historical architecture & graphic arts.

Currently we are trying to photograph and record as many of the cemeteries in our area as we possibly can. We will probably still be photographing graves right up until we are put in our own. We have also just signed up to work as volunteers for the Rowan County, NC genealogical society.

If you discover that we have created a memorial page for one of your relatives, please let us know, as we would be happy to transfer the page to you unless we are also related to the deceased and our relationship is closer then yours. If you are not a relative of the deceased, but would still like a transfer, please explain why you would like the transfer made(a friend of the deceased, classmate, etc). In such cases we are usually willing to transfer as well unless the person is in our immediate family.

Photos we have added to Find A Grave may be used for non-commerical purposes only. Adding them to your family tree on such sites as an Ancestry.com or to your own personal family history page etc. is fine as long as you give proper credit. In most cases, we maintain larger, higher quality copies of the photos we have uploaded here and will be happy to email copies of them to family members upon request.

Grim Reaper
Old settler cemetery
80% of graves are either ruined or in a cellar waiting to be restored ,but I did find a book written in 1930 that list 95% of tombstone's that were there at that time (no pictures) just names and dates of persons engraved on tombstone.

Minnie Lord Scales Henderson
I finished Maj. Nathaniel Scales bio (#48363187),and in doing so discovered one of his daughters in the same cemetery. Would it be possible to transfer her to me, so that I may fill in info and connect her parentage? Her # is 43972941.

RE: Re; Hill Family
Hello - Hill Family Member,

I am trying to get some of our long lost family members back together and on facebook so we can easily share photos, documents, struggles, etc. I have just started the page, but please feel free to suggest others that you think would be interested in the discussion. The page is about several related lines that connect through my family, but - Hatch / Roberts/ Leak / Cleveland / Dibble / Hill - are all part of it.

If you are interested, please go and request to be part of the group at:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/130111873832452/

Then spread the word to other family members. I think it would be great if long time, long distance, long lost cousins found a way to talk and share. Family reunion on-line - sorta.

Thanks, Bryan Hatch

RE: A bit of confusion....
Hi Mary, Wow what a hornets nest. Last year for the Odd Fellow Lot cemetery, the cemetery office had me remap it again, it had not been done for about 50 years. So using the old map, this is where and how I had created the memorial for your grandmother Ora Nelson Rollins.

Well as it turns out, I went into the office a little while ago, and did alot of research. This is what I found: The lot was bought for her use, but in reality she is not buried here. The office records show both ways or buried there and not. We could not find any enternment card so I deleted the memorial and we will presume she is buried right where you stated. I am glad that this got straightened out. Thank you very much for your help. Blessings Jo
