|Rover||RE: Benjamin Nason|
I have added the following to the picture:
Benjamin Nason Died 1849* Aged 84 years
Dylia Nason Wife of Benj. Nason died 1836 Aged 66 years
Sarah Nason Daughter of Benj. & Dylia Nason Died 1827 Aged 25 years
Sarah Sweet Daughter of Ezra & Mary Sweet Died 1831 Aged 17 years
Sarah Nason Sister of Benj. Nason Died 1871 Aged 86 years
Betsy Nason Sister of Benj. Nason Died 1854 Aged 84 years
*Elm Grove Cemetery Inscriptions, by Althea H. McAleer lists Benjamin's death as 1840 ... whether it is a transcription error or not, I can not say. It definitely looked like 1849 to me.
Hope this helps you.

Please resubmit your picture request. I accidentally uploaded a picture of Elizabeth King Gleason who died in 1967 for this entry. I did take a picture of the memorial of the Elizabeth you are looking for. The memorial surname is listed at "Glennon". She died in 1927 at 83 yrs old.

|Catherine Renschler||Family photo album|
I have in my possession an old family photo album that apparently was owned by a Pihlcrantz - Philcrantz family.
The first photo in the album is of Carl Gustav Pihlcrantz born Aug 15, 1883, age 7 months.
In the album are photos of the following:
Docia Doughty and sister-in-law Lizzie Cottle;
Lizzie Doughty, son Norris, Lottie & May daughters of Lida Bailey;
Loomis Austin Smith, husband of Delia Cottle;
Cynthia Cottle Lennen
Lida Cottle Bailey;
Andrew Jackson Cottle is written on one page, but that photo is missing.
All the photos are tin-types and the album itself is in very poor condition. This album was found at a second hand store.
I found you by doing a search on findagrave for some of the names. I hope to scan the photos and post them on findagrave and then get the album into the hands of a descendant. I would only ask the cost of postage to mail the album.

|Deborah Howard||RE: Howard family in Maine|
I do believe they are brothers, and their parents were Daniel & Sarah. The family moved from Hebron CT to the Lyme NH/Thetford VT area before transplanting again to Maine. Joseph, Uriah, & Frederick all settled in Phillips Maine after a brief sojourn in Winthrop, but Elias seems to have settled in Litchfield. Most of my research was at the Maine St Library & Archives and the Thetford (VT) Historical Society. Phillips town records (at Me Archives) list both Frederick & Joseph & their families. Thetford Historical Society has a copy of Hebron CT town records w info on Daniel & Sarah.
Elias is mentioned in the History of Litchfield & an Account of its Centennial Celebration. At the Maine State Library is a genealogical paper by William Marquis called the Descendants of Robert Howard which lists Elias & Frederick as 2 of the sons of Daniel & Sarah. Elias is also in the Litchfield Town Clerk records available at the Maine St Archives. Some of this same info has also been transcribed on Ancestry.com
wife is Lorraine M per the stone.

Just fulfilled your requests. There is a Marion Buck listed on the stone too. I've uploaded the photo to her existing memorial.
