I had created a memorial for her in 2014. I noticed that you had created an unknown burial memorial for her in 2012. Since you have 30 days by Findagrave rules to update that memorial to a cemetery, I am transferring my memorial to you, since you are interested and related to her. This way you may add the information from your memorial to the one I have transferred and can delete the duplicate and you will have control of the memorial. I hope this helpful to you.

Here is Findagraves rule: How do I add a memorial when I'm not sure what cemetery they are buried?
This is similar to adding a memorial for cremation. Do not create a new cemetery which does not exist in order to add these memorials. Use the Family and Friends link and select the Burial:Other and then Recent Death, location of body unknown option. Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days. [Top]

RE: Any family connection
The information I have on the Hotchkiss family is on Find-A-Grave. The following website might help:

You may also what to contact the Vedder Library in Coxsackie, NY. They have Greene County historical records.

Good Luck

I hope the info helps you in your research.

RE: Benjamin Nason
I have added the following to the picture:
Benjamin Nason Died 1849* Aged 84 years
Dylia Nason Wife of Benj. Nason died 1836 Aged 66 years
Sarah Nason Daughter of Benj. & Dylia Nason Died 1827 Aged 25 years
Sarah Sweet Daughter of Ezra & Mary Sweet Died 1831 Aged 17 years
Sarah Nason Sister of Benj. Nason Died 1871 Aged 86 years
Betsy Nason Sister of Benj. Nason Died 1854 Aged 84 years
*Elm Grove Cemetery Inscriptions, by Althea H. McAleer lists Benjamin's death as 1840 ... whether it is a transcription error or not, I can not say. It definitely looked like 1849 to me.
Hope this helps you.

Elizabeth Gleason
Please resubmit your picture request. I accidentally uploaded a picture of Elizabeth King Gleason who died in 1967 for this entry. I did take a picture of the memorial of the Elizabeth you are looking for. The memorial surname is listed at "Glennon". She died in 1927 at 83 yrs old.

Family photo album
Dear Robert,
I have in my possession an old family photo album that apparently was owned by a Pihlcrantz - Philcrantz family.
The first photo in the album is of Carl Gustav Pihlcrantz born Aug 15, 1883, age 7 months.

In the album are photos of the following:

Arthur Doughty;
Docia Doughty and sister-in-law Lizzie Cottle;
Lizzie Doughty, son Norris, Lottie & May daughters of Lida Bailey;
Loomis Austin Smith, husband of Delia Cottle;
Cynthia Cottle Lennen
Isack Jackson;
Lida Cottle Bailey;
and others.
Andrew Jackson Cottle is written on one page, but that photo is missing.

All the photos are tin-types and the album itself is in very poor condition. This album was found at a second hand store.

I found you by doing a search on findagrave for some of the names. I hope to scan the photos and post them on findagrave and then get the album into the hands of a descendant. I would only ask the cost of postage to mail the album.
