|PLEASE IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE PHOTO'S TAKEN BY CONTRIBUTORS ON FAG ON ANCESTORY or anywhere else BE CURTEOUS ENOUGH TO ASK PERMISSION AND ALWAYS GIVE THEM CREDIT AS IT TAKES TIME AND EFFORT TO TAKE THE PHOTO'S. I don't mind my photo's from here being shared and I am sure most contributors don't mind, but it is the way things should be done.|
I have been interested in genology since 1979. We, my husband and I enjoy it. I thank everyone on find a grave for their efforts and the work they do to help others.
Thanks to my husband, Dan & his friend, Dean, who go to cemeteries that are hard to get to and take pictures for me to add to memorials. I have taken a lot of them myself it is a joint effort.
I hope thru the pictures and Memorials that we are helping someone make their connections.
If I have a memorial and you are a relative feel free to go to edit and request a transfer. If they are not in our families I will be glad to transfer to you. I love it when they are personalized.
PLEASE PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS. FIND A GRAVE IS NOT A CONTEST AS TO WHO HAS THE MOST MEMORIALS. IT IS TO HONOR THE PERSON WHO HAS PASSED AWAY AND HELP PEOPLE LOCATE THEIR RELATIVES AND LOVED ONES GRAVE.
Barbara & Dan.

This is Finanda Columbia (Spurgeon) Miller. Just giving you the "C". I was once told her parents are buried on top of the next hill over. I've never been able to get there.

Good work on the pic! I've been there many times. One of the most peaceful places on Earth. This person was William Allen Miller. (not Wallen Allen Miller) He was my gg-grandfather. One of his daughters (Gertrude) married Doc Nicholson of Glenville. Perhaps, you knew that, given your surname and location.

|Ancestral Deeds||RE: Josephine Benninger.|
The marriage certificate you noted in the memorial proves that Josephine "Josie" Ida Bond-Benninger, DOB: 1870, is a different person than Josephine Ida Taylor-Benninger, as Josephine Ida Taylor-Benninger was only 24 years old when she was married in 1929 (ie. born abt. 1905).
(Marriage records gives her name as Josephine Ida Taylor. Death record says her Father was Jacob Bond.)
You are talking about two different people in this notation.

Back in February, you requested photos of the stone for Sixtus and Mollie Bernatowicz at Arlington National. Their new stone is in place, and I've photographed it and posted photos on their memorials. I've also requested an admin to reorder the photos on the memorial for Sixtus, as the stone photos moved the photo of him and his wife to not show on the memorial page -- that should be taken care of in the next couple of days.
Thank you for your patience!

|Tom Randolph||RE: Sarah F Randolph at SDB Cem Salem|
|Tom Randolph||Sarah F. Randolph 2|
Sorry, actually just realized the birthdate given in her Find A Grave profile is wrong, too. Should be Oct, not Dec. Perhaps to confirm as well.
|Tom Randolph||Sarah F Randolph at SDB Cem Salem|
A request if you happen to be stopping in at the SDB Church Cemetery in Salem at some point. The only death information for Sarah F. Randolph, daughter of Stephen Davis Fitz Randolph and Mary Elendor Hurst appears to be on her gravestone. There is a Find A Grave profile and photo, which gives the correct birthdate in Dec 1892 (there is a birth record), but a questionable death date of Dec 1893. I say questionable because she wasn't given a name in her birth record, so I thought she probably died soon after she was born. One cannot read it from the photo (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=134821907), so I wonder if you looked at in person you would be able to see it better. There also seems to be an image of fox and a rabbit in the engraving -- I wonder if that is more obvious in person, too. Maybe a reference to the Uncle Remus stories? Absolutely no hurry -- only if you have a chance.
|David Adams||Mary Ellen Baker Adams|
I am new to this program, but I looked up my grandmother, Mary Ellen Baker Adams and she has in her discription that she married Ira Clinton Adams Sr. on August 28, 1992. August 28 is correct, but it was in 1948, This is a year before my father (Ira Clinton Adams Jr.) was born. I don't know whether the Herold Record had the date mistaken or what. I do not have a copy of the marriage certificate, but I believe they were married in the Washington DC area. I'm not sure how to make changes to these, but could you please correct this. I have more information about Ira Clinton Adams Sr and Mary Ellen Baker Adams if you would like. Please reach out to me, I would love to help. My email is DAdams26554@gmail.com. Thanks -David Adams

thank you for checking. It was some time ago, and I could have transcribed it incorrectly.
Thanks again, Silvia

|Jennifer Wilt||Patrick E O'Neal|
I hope you all are doing well. I've been working on the Catholic Section of the Blockhouse Hill Cemetery. Can you please change the death date for Patrick E O'Neal to Dec 30, 1872? Here is his death record:
Thanks, Barbara for all you've done on Find-A-Grave for Doddridge County.
