I've been doing genealogy since 1988. I love walking through cemeteries, imagining the lives of the people I pass.|
Most of the pages I post are for people I am NOT related to. (the ones I am connected to usually have a photo of the person added). These "extra" people are ones from local (and not so local) cemeteries that my husband & I photograph their stones and I enter them on FAG, trying to link as many as I can so the families are brought back together after all this time. I do lots of research to accomplish this and I hope I add correct information. I love to connect these people and I'm always thrilled when something comes together, either through the census, obits, a family genealogy, Rootsweb entries, or even "social" news in an old newspaper. I hope I find "homes" for all these people, including all the little children who seem to get lost as they had no descendants.
If you find someone you are related to and would like to take over their page/s, please request a transfer through the edit option (1st option--"suggest a correction" will get you an email form addressed to me that will be linked to the person) on the particular individual's page. Please include your member ID number, as well.

Hi Cheri ... a message board post on Ancestry led me here ... I've been trying to research my g-grandfather's "alternate family" -- that is, his first wife and children, whom I did not know about until recently. You've got their Find A Grave memorials:
Austin J. Hale (107803703) and his wife G. Bernice Thompson (107803716)
Harry E. Craig (107529871), wife of Austin's sister, Mona.
As you state you are not a relative, I'd love to have these memorials under my control. Also, I'd love to chat with you about what else you may know of this family -- particularly as you list in Austin's memorial the history of his name change. How do you know of this? I'd be grateful if you contacted me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Thank you for the great photo of Harold Fyock's marker. I would never have been able to take it myself and I am thankful for the Find A Grave family that is always there to help out.

Thank you so very much for the memorial transfers. I really appreciate all the extra effort you extended to provide information on each memorial you initiated. It is so very nice of you ! Your contributions are priceless to people who live out of state and who otherwise might never find the relatives you provide so much information for....
Thanks ever so much,
Ellen M. Herrmann

I would like to say thank you very much for sharing family members with me. There are so many that don't share. And will not add the history to help others find there way. I think you are doing a great job. Thank you
