Hi Gwen, I was given your name as someone who may know about the Cooley family, MS,TX,LA. I am Jimmy Earl Cooley from Beauregard Parish Louisiana, see my name on Find A Grave list. Come from John Cooley via William Cooley via Little Berry Cooley via John Eugene Cooley via Ermel Cooley to me. Also John Cooley via William Cooley via Nelson Cooley via Nelson C Cooley via John B Cooley via Marshall JB Cooley to me. Both Mother and Father come from William of MS. Have ebook on mothers side "Little Berry Cooley" by Jimmy Earl Cooley and now working one ebook on Nelson C Cooley m Mary Phillips. Need info on Jesse Phillips of MS,LA and his family. Also family surnames: Sanders, Phillips, Cooley, Tatum, Arrington, Bailey, and Sullivan.
Any help appreciated.

Baby Davis, Twin 15454086
Gwen, I must have been wrong because I found Charles L. Davis age 13 & James Davis age 13 in the 1900 Census of Beat 4, Wayne County, Mississippi. But I am wondering if it could be the Infant Twin who was born in 1896 who died at birth and the other twin lived 8 months and died July 20, 1897. But, I believe that one of them is buried in Arrington Cemetery, Wayne County,Mississippi. I am just trying to make sense out of this family.

I am trying to add all of this information to Family Tree Maker from my notebooks. Hopefully I can clean up a lot of notes. Some of this information is hard to put together.

Are you aware that the DNA Testing on our Pate family shows that we were McCains and our name changed somewhere in the 1750's to 1800 to Pate. We are from the Hugh McCain family. The reason that I know this is because I had my uncle L. Aubrey Pate's DNA Tested to the 111 marker before he died. Also, two other family members tested and the same thing showed up.

This would have come down from John Pate, Sr. more than likely.

Do you have any photos of the family of Cynthia Pate Landrum. I do not have anything except tombstone photos. If you do will you share with me? I will be glad to share my line with you.

We will have our Pate Reunion October 31, 2015 in Center, Shelby County, Texas. Hoping to be able to go. We always have a large group of family members and have a wonderful time together. This reunion is from William Robert Pate who is the son of Drew Pate & Elizabeth Jane Parker.

The linking was done through my memorial. See if Betty has them linked. Wish I could have fixed it.
