I tried to clean up the B&W photo and take the marks and folds out. I don't have a good program for this anymore, but I managed to make it look better. You can remove it if you're not happy with it. Ron

Hi Richard,
Could you add his photo marker on his wife's memorial also. She just passed away and I have her link on his page. (Shirley Arnett)
Thanks so much

RE: Beam grave
You keep on managing the Beam's page. I'll send you the info and the pics we took this weekend when we were there. Have pics of R.C.(Romulus) and Susan Malone Fortune also; my daughter was able to make out the inscriptions.

Oh, and...
Forgot to mention, please forgive typos, etc. - not the best sign for a professional writer, but I'm having some medical treatment that's really playing heck with my vision!

Your father
Hi Richard,
Gosh, I remembered your dad's name right off, and then I checked his page - yep, I remember reading about him! =) I couldn't hope but see some similarities in the stories of him and my own dad's, because when Dad was dying, he'd say, "Well, I'll be going back to Chicago," and I'd say, "I'll make sure you've got a few bucks for the track when you go, Dad." Not quite the same circumstances, I know, but your tribute just struck a note with me - and the photograph is absolutely astonishing. I get more mail for my dad, to this day, than for me. because of his photos in my work (I write) - even on this site, people will message, "Oh, he looks like he was a handful!" ha! Anyhow, I'm not online as much as I'd like right now because of health issues, but by this weekend, I'll be checking in on my people, as I say - I'll look thru your page, a bit more. If you don't mind, I added your dad to my virtual cemetery that's titled "Fascinating Stories"...he deserves more visitors than he is getting, and so maybe I can send a few his way. Best to you and yours/RCP and Gannon Blue

How funny! I think I found that marker also. Probably the same one discussed in the previous message. Let me know if you need my photos.
