RE: Joseph Machta
Thank you . I try. Hopefully I'll be able to get your other photos soon.

Joseph Machta
He was in section AA, not section H, so you probably mixed up the locations for your relatives.

Joseph Machtay
Could he have been Joseph Machta, d. 1934? He was 78 and a father. I found that headstone in while I was searching for your other relatives.

RE: Nathan Machta
You got exactly the right info. I'll get to the cemetery when this cold spell snaps. BRRR.

I'll be happy to get the picture for you if you call the office and get the Section and Block and the society where the grave is located.

My experience with that cemetery is that the requested names are not always the same as the names on file in the office. They also ask for confirmation of relatives names, which I can't do, so it is more accurate for you to get the plot than for me to try to get it.

RE: Wasserman
Janis, it's my pleasure. There's not much to translate there - Batsheva bat Hevel. The second line is the Hebrew date of death.

RE: Wasserman
Look at the other Wassermans in Ostro Marsho Cemetery - I just added photographs of their stones. It looks like David Wasserman's wife was Betsy/Bessie Frieda Wasserman and they had a son, Solomon Wasserman whose wife was Hannah. Hope this helps.

RE: Wassarman
I also took photos of the other Wassarmans at Ostro Marsho Cemetery if you have photo requests available.

Sonia Diaz
Your info on Sonia is too vague for a photo volunteer to go to the office to figure out if she is there. They try to narrow down the person with questions such as who is her next of kin or who purchased the grave. Seems like you should call the office, tell them what you know, then post the exact location, including society, and then I can help.

Marijampolė
Janis, I have not transcribed any cemeteries in/around Marijampolė. My areas of most intense interest are in Vilkaviškis and Šakiai counties toward the west/north of Marijampolė, and the only cemeteries that I have comprehensively transcribed so far are the ones at Paežeriai and Gelgaudiškis, the hometowns of my grandparents. I may do spot-transcriptions of other cemeteries and add them to Find-A-Grave at a later time. I have so many projects, genealogical and otherwise, and the summer is especially busy. If you have an online tree anywhere, direct me to it. I'll take a look and keep your surnames of interest in mind. All the best. GREG SEVELIS 7/19 9:50AM Kaunas
