Please feel free to use the photos I have taken of your loved ones to use on your personal family pages, on your family trees, or to share with family in general BUT PLEASE CREDIT THE SOURCE. If volunteers do not want you to use their photos or info and are afraid of someone "stealing" their work, why are they even posting the photos, obits...etc here? |
PLEASE NOTE: Find A Grave NO LONGER sends out emails when you need to edit a memorial. You MUST check your own EDIT tab at the top of your Profile Page. Click it on and see if there are edits that need your approval.
If someone takes the time to fulfill your photo requests, why not take the time to THANK THEM!!! A little Thank You goes a long way and its very much appreciated.
To all the photo volunteers that take the time to photograph requests, a great BIG thank you to each and everyone of you.

The years were a bit off. I only checked half the cemetery before I found all photo request so I stopped looking for Boyd.
Did I tell you to look at cemetery photo I uploaded that shows Boyd at the front corner?
The GPS coords are added when taking and uploading a photo with the app.

I added the Boyd photo. The stones face west but the fencing doesn't run north/south east/west. The Boyd plot is at the very front corner. Check out the cemetery photo I added today. I didn't think it belonged on the memorial page but I wanted you to see it.

You are correct. I only found the one.

At least one of the photos you posted for White Chapel is my photo, but given to you by someone else. I would not post this in this open forum, but you have blocked your email address, so I have no choice. If you would like to know the photo in question please email me.

Good you found him , I created a lot of memorials from cemetery indexes , indexes from Cabell County Doors To The Past ,and funeral home records. With 50thousand plus I can't remember all of them.

I looked on my dvds for Acey , Lillie has a marker but there is no marker on my dvds for Acey.

Thank you a million for taking and posting your photos for Aurelis Ducray Baird (my gg-aunt), her husband Benjamin and other Bairds, and for looking for Ducrays and Bairds in Kiser Hill Cemetery. Your photos are great, and I'm glad to see them!
I'm very sorry I didn't write back to you much sooner. I just discovered that I had started my reply to you last April 16, 2012, but I got interrupted before sending it by an emergency. That threw me for a loop for months. I mistakenly thought I had completed and sent my reply to you, but I just discovered it in my Drafts folder. I'm so sorry.
I learned today from your Contributor page that FindaGrave no longer is sending e-mails to notify us when somebody posted a message at our Contributor page. Yipes! I didn't know that, and I found several important messages posted to me in the past several months that I'm just replying to today, including yours. Thank you for bringing my attention to that! Thank you also for suggesting the edit for Aurelis's nickname, to be consistent with her marker. I appreciate it. She had three nicknames, which is a bit of a record so far in my research!

You are most welcome! Actually the day we went to the cemetery in Canajoharie (New York) was unseasonably warm! Unfortunately it has turned very cold (-37 degrees with wind chill the other day!) and there won't be any cemetery visits for me in the foreseeable future...can't wait for Spring!
Have a great day!

Thanks! I actually found a digitized copy on familysearch.org that I was able to download.

Hi! My name is Melanie Simko and I am the great grandaughter of Caroline Baker Rumbaugh. Is there a copy of the 1920 Baker family reunion book (where the pictures on this site came from) any where in the Pittsburgh area or online that you know of? I found that the historical society in Philly has a copy but I was hoping not to have to travel so far! Thanks!
