I found an intense interest in geaneology after two things happened. First, I married my husband who had never know his real father & had very little information about him. Second, my grandmother was diagnosed and sucumbed to Alzheimers. She had always been so proud to show off all the pictures of her parents and grandparents and great grandparents and tell the family history. And now she can't do that anymore. I want to carry on for her. And it was important to my husband to find out where it came from and I decided to take on that challenge. I can't stop myself now!
