The image I use for my profile on FAG shows the traditional dress in the part of Norway where my mother's family is from. (It's not me!)|
I don't live near any of my own relatives and very much appreciate the work that folks from those areas have done. I concentrate on the cemeteries in Athens County Ohio where I live, adding information about spouses, maiden names, and parents whenever I find sources that appear to be valid. I'm sure there are times that I'm led astray by what looks valid, so please send an edit or contact me if you see something that doesn't look right!
I'm glad to transfer records if you're a direct relative of someone whose memorial I created. Please see the FAG guidelines under "How do I get a Relative's Memorial Transferred to Me" on the "Help with Find A Grave" page.
Feel free to use the headstone photos that I've taken in any way that is respectful.

Hola! Where did you find the picture of Rufus Wayne Roach?
|Eric Richendollar||Mt. Calvary Cemetery|
Thank you for all your work on Mt. Calvary Cemetery. I used to live across the street from it. One minor correction though. The stone listed as "Itnyugszek 'John' Kalapos" should be simply "John Kalapos". The phrase "It Nyugszik" (properly spelled "Itt") is Hungarian for "Here Lies" and not part of his name.

You are 100% correct, changes made.
Thank you for caring enough to write and pointing
Will double ck the entire family-

I moved her to West Union.. Make sure I did the correct cemetery. Mr and mrs Goff already have headstone photos at the other cemetery.

Sorry, I was going by the large volume of edits that I was going to be making. No problem, I will just use the edit tab.
|Sally Holden Dyson||Gaston in Zion Cemetery|
Are you related to the Gaston family of Athens Co., Ohio? Ephraim Gaston is my gg-grandfather (Zion Cemetery). I'd like to be able to add family members & make the connections on Find A Grave. I'd appreciate it a lot if you could transfer these folks to me. Also there are some Gastons in Graham Chapel that are descendants of Ephraim that could be transferred to me if you'd like. Thanks so much for putting them on Find A Grave; I haven't been researching this line in a while so finding these on Find A Grave has got me going again!!!
