Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Kelly Robert Greer. I have been interested in genealogy since my father passed in 1991. I am always interested in trying to find out who was related to who it seems - addicted so to speak. But it's a good "addiction".

I will be glad to assist with a transfer of any memorial of mine - provided I am NOT related to them. Any and all requests for a transfer should be done using the EDIT feature for the memorial in question.

I usually go by the rules of Find A Grave on most transfer requests but I'm not a strict adherent to them. Please provide the memorial # involved and your Find A Grave contributor number. Failure to provide BOTH numbers will result in your transfer request being ignored.

P.S. Rude and or impolite requests will simply be ignored - as they should be. If you are not capable of courtesy why should I, or anyone else, bother with you?

Emma Roberts
Thanks for catching this error. I see what happened, the dates for Emma Roberts came from a book by Robert McGinnis(the Knox County Cem. Historian) titled "A Record of Burials at Washington Presbyterian Church Cemetery". I used this book as a reference when I created the memorials at Wash. Pres. Cem. When I added the photos of the headstones I neglected to compare the dates on the headstone to the dates from the book. I will correct the dates. Thanks again.

Jeannine (Booton) Hall
Maxwell Clark
Sorry it has taken me so long to get this correction. My computer was in and out of the shop all month, plus I had birthdays and Christmas on my plate.

Anyway, what I thought was interesting is who this was reported by. Wonder if it could be a typo...L.Boolon M.D. Wondered if it should be Booton.

Maxwell's mother Susannah was the daughter of Margaret Ellen (Knapp) who was also married to my 3rd great grandfather Davis Booton. Dr. Laban M. Booton was a son of Davis and Margaret Ellen Knapp. Laban would have been Maxwell's 1/2 Uncle.

George Smith Jr/George Smith Sr
Would you make this correction to George Smith Jr?
His father George Michael Smith died in Rowan CO N C and is buried in the Smith Family Cemetery there.
George Smith Jr had a homestead on the Cumberland River (near Tateville, KY) were he ran a ferry across the river.
George Smith Jr died in Pulaski, Kentucky 05 Jan 1854. He was buried on the Smith Homestead that was located on the Cumberland River. (Not in the cemetery with Elizabeth) When the River was converted for the Tennessee River Valley project the Smith Homestead was flooded and covered with the water.
George Smith Jr did indeed have 3 wives.
1. Elizabeth Ribelin
2. Nancy Baker 1765-1843
3. Louisa Carager 1824

I do not know where his number 2 and number 3 wives are buried. Thank you, Marie Smith Anderson
