Bio Photo Carolyn B. Leonard, author, freelance magazine writer, genealogist, speaker, past president of Oklahoma Writers Federation, recently honored in Kentucky for locating and marking graves of American Revolutionary Patriots. If you see incorrect or missing info on a memorial that I manage, I will be happy to fix that. (Please provide info on where your info can be sourced) Also I am happy to transfer any immediate family members to another volunteer. Findagrave guidelines say request only transfer within four generations, but I sometimes agree to transfer more distant relatives - so long as they are not also my ancestors. Use the "Edit" tab on the memorial which will make it easier to add info or make other changes.

Please cite my name as reference if you choose to use any photos that I have posted here. Please show the courtesy of asking permission and telling me where you want to use the info.

RE: Arthur Lincoln Freeman #96147056
Hi Carolyn, Tarlton and Jane Campbell Logan were my GGG Grandparents. Would love to know how we are connected. My edit in Jane's memorial page was to let you know that in the biography section, you have the date 1936 instead of 1836. Also was wondering what death date you have for her. My records and the Headstone date doesn't match. I don't know what could have happened to the previous messages either.

*His parents were Lycurgis "Kirk" Freeman (1850-1907) and Ida May Ellen Jackson (1858-1948)

Hi, I originally submitted this edit in early March with no results as yet. Do you need more information? I understand and appreciate how busy you are and realize you may not have gotten around to it yet. I was following up on my submitted edits and noticed this. Thanks! Vickie (Clan Logan #48430548)

Hi...I have been working on my older Branch line and noticed that most trees have Daniel Branch who married Joanna Jenks as son of the above. Daniel would be my 6th Great Grandfather.

I see that your Find a Grave entry says that this is not true.

I was just wondering if you have any history on who parents of Daniel might be.

Any help is truly appreciated...Robie at

Did you take this photo and if so do you have an exact location as I'm working to restore this cemetery and have not found this stone. There's also some folk lore confusion as to the location Demaree versus Lochridge cemeteries and having more than one named cemetery. Thanks for your help.

Your Caveat
You posted photo for Demaree Cemetery in Jefferson County Indiana and mentioned not to give the photo to a pay site like Did you know that ancestry actually owns and links all information to their website?

I added the correction to the memorial bio at Mud House.
I also included a link to the memorial at the Banta/Demotte cemetery.
Here's the link:

Thanks for the information,

I came across your memorial (#121656509) for William Beebe. Are you related to him? Does his stone read 4th Ohio Cav?

RE: Lamunyon family in Willard Cemetery
I did send the requests via the Edit button, and this morning when I checked my emails, I found they had been processed. I thank you very much for processing them for me. I saw your Findagrave profile and it states: "If you see incorrect or missing info on a memorial that I manage, I will be happy to fix that. (Please provide info on where your info can be sourced)". That was the reason I asked in what format you would like it presented as a source. Have a great day. I am working on the descendants of David & Elizabeth Rhodes Lamunyon.
