The Hatcher Brothers were sons of Margaret Franklin Hensley Hatcher Gatewood--my gg grandmother and Hillery Hatcher were both from Bedford Co., Va (Peaks of the Otters)--my great grandmother Nancy Mandane Gatewood Ennis was their half sister--her brother Dr. John Cambyses Gatewood practiced with one of the Hatcher brothers in 1850 or 1860 census--Dr. Gatewood was murdered in Edmonson co., Ky by a man not in his right mind--his friends lynched the man.
