We have been researching our family tree, off and on, for over 35 years. We discovered Find A Grave and what a wonderful resource! We decided that we wanted to help so Diana became a photo volunteer it is great to be able to get pictures for others. She has now made it a goal to try and get photos for cemeteries in Callahan County, Texas as that is were we live. Please let us know when we make mistakes as sometimes it is hard to read the tombstones. If you find your family we have added and they are not related to us and you want them to be transfer just let us know. Also, you have our permission to use any of our photos for family research.|

Thanks so much for making the correction on his birth year. Gloria Reck #47206933
|Syd Gardner||Thanks so much ~|
~ for clarifying the maiden name of whom I had as Minnie Elizabeth (Petrie) Shanklin, and who should actually be Nonnie (Latham) Shanklin!
|Syd Gardner||You've made an edit suggestion ~|
~ for my memorial 130291638 for "Minnie Elizabeth (Petrie) Shanklin who was born on September 5, 1908 in Todd County, Kentucky, the daughter of Raymond Petrie and Lillie (Boyd) Petrie."
You are indicating that her name should be Nonnie (Latham) Shanklin.
If my entry is incorrect, I'd be happy to change it, but you really need to give me a bit more information, so that I can verify that her maiden name is Latham and that she isn't the daughter of Raymond Petrie and Lillie (Boyd) Petrie.

|Tammy Bouquet||RE: Burkett B Rager, Cox Cemetery|
Well, thanks for sharing and being willing to help. As I said, I'm new to this (and am quite addicted) and I'm just trying to figure out how to reconcile conflicting data. I try not to look too much at other trees because I've found some really inaccurate info there (unless they have documents attached.) Burkett Rager was my great grandfather and I've found a birth record showing his birth in Jan 1856, an 1870 Census showing abt 1858, a 1900 census showing abt 1855, a 1920 census showing abt 1857 and a death certificate showing March 1852 which matches the tombstone. I have found several of the Ragers who have named their child after the original Burkett, but I'm pretty sure the records I've just mentioned are all the same person. So confusing!!

I'm very new to researching genealogy and am curious as to where you've found the information added to some of the records. Have you personally added this information or did you add the original record and others have updated it. The reason I ask is because I have been having a hard time reconciling conflicting information and was wondering if this information is from cemetery records or from you, you and others or elsewhere.

Thank you both for transferring the memorial I requested. I appreciate your kindness.
|Donna Clair||Ernest Ham's sibling information|
Was interested in some family information and just found this website. My father was born in Clyde and was Ernest Ham's brother. I noticed you only had Aunt Ethel as a sibling. There was
also Elgie, b. 1895, and my father Eugene, b. 1899. My father passed away in 1978, Madera, Ca., but I'm not sure when Elgie died. He lived in Lawn, Tx. but I think he passed away in Abilene. Maybe this will help you with recording keeping. I'm grateful there are ways to find out some of this information, and also people like you who help make it possible for people like me to get it. Thank you so much. Donna Ham Clair
