Bio and Links
Bio Photo in 2011~~ I became very interested in researching my dad's family HORNSBY & I started in Tallassee, Alabama for that is where he was originally from as I understood from him as he shared..it has led me to discover KIN I never knew I had. It also was amazing to watch my 5 sisters as I shared with them. As we grew up, we had very little contact with Hornsby's other than my dad's siblings & I will never forget what my baby sister said ''oh my I thought we were the only Hornsby's'' she was amazed at the cemeteries filled with relatives as we explored. It made me think about all the people who really did not know family from the past. How sad for that to be lost. I have come away with a desire to add what I can as I take photos & add to this site. I have also come away with this understanding: ask your relatives, especially the older ones for when they are gone unless they wrote it down..it is lost. When we know our relatives it gives a sense of ''belonging'' a sense of ''completeness''. Yes, we may discover things we did not want to know yet it accomplishes our ''wholeness''that we belong to a family unit created by God Himself.. Even in the Bible geneologies are written for those who ''come behind'' may we do the same!
***please take note****all photos added by me of grave sites have been personally taken by me/people, events are photos owned by my family/I can only speak for myself and the photos that I have taken. I am giving my express permission for you to use my photos in any way you see fit in your family research.. If you would like you may copy for your personal treasures of the family. Thank you :)

Thank you for letting me know. I've deleted the one I made. In his obit, it said he passed away at UAB and you have Goodwater. Please accept my condolences. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Moncus Family
Yes I am related to several Moncus. My great great grandmother, Martha Emily Fisher Hodge was sisters with Frances Ellen Fisher Moncus (my 2nd great grand aunt) who married James William Moncus, the son of James Moncus and Penelope Perry Moncus where many of the Moncus of Randolph and Clay Co., Alabama descend from. Opal McGill Moncus, (wife of nephew of wife of 3rd great grand uncle)the wife of Bruuner Mack Moncus, the son of Elick Mack Moncus is related also through my McGill family line. She is the daughter of George Edward McGill and Mollie Camp (another family line)He is 2nd cousin 3x removed)She was still living not long ago in Randolph Co., Alabama and has a book on the McGill and Moncus family. You might see if you can make contact.

Knighton/Hornsby connection
I loved your memorial to Thomas Hornsby. His mother, Elizabeth Knighton Hornsby was a sister to our Samuel Knighton who left Georgia and went on to settle in Lafayette County, Arkansas. Thank you for your notes!

RE: both Willie G & Paul are at prattville memorial gardens

LOL okay done. Just the numbers would have been fine.
Sorry! My bad! Senior moment? Didn't register! You were perfectly clear, my head wasn't.
I added the grave marker from Paul to Willie where it should have been since the beginning. If you get a better one or different one I will can and will gladly remove the one I moved to Willie.
I see I manage all 4 Rhodes memorials and they sound like important family members.
Would you like me to transfer to you?

RE: 88634631 Bernard Parker
Hi Ann,

Can you tell me what his middle name is? Also, are his parent's graves unmarked? I can't find them anywhere on this site. It's possible that the graves are illegible. If they are and I can't figure out who the grave belongs to by using my fingers on the letters, I didn't take a pic. I took pics of all the graves in Fellowship Cemetery in 2012 and new graves in 2013. If you look thru Fellowship, 75% of the memorials I added because I took grave pics of the whole cemetery. Are his siblings on Find A Grave?

RE: 17183196 Willie G Rhodes
I assume she is Francis F.?....Unless she is buried in a different cemetery, which happens a lot?
Please send me both memorial numbers to link without question for you?

I will link for you. Do you know you can send an edit and kink them yourself?
If they are related, no matter how, please request transfers from me all that of them that are in your tree. No one takes better care of family then family. And none of them are in my family tree at all.
