Thank you. I appreciate you getting back to me. :)
|Emily E. Farley Smith||John Van Cott - 2nd Request :)|
Hello again. I know real life takes precedence and/or interrupts our hobby here and I hope all is well on your side of the screen. Or you've done like I have, put it in the "to do" pile and just haven't gotten to it yet. If that's the case, please consider this a gentle reminder. Thanks again, Emily.
John Van Cott
Memorial # 133220493 - I've added the links you requested. Thank you for this additional info. You've also added a newspaper article that I will transcribe into the memorial but I'll need the name and state of the publication and date published. Would you please forward that info to me?
Again, thank you.

|C Neale||Marker location for Sgt William Laing|
I am the great grandaughter of Sgt William Laing and finding this marker photo has been a treat! Can you please let me know where this was taken? Our family has been looking for this grave site for years.
Thank you so much for posting it, we appreciate your efforts :)

|Emma ||PS HEWLETT HOUSE|
"The identifying statements of the house @ Bethpage seem to be in conflict with the built date of the (Bethpage) house that is pictured on the Find A Grave for John Hewlett II". To avoid confusion, I meant that the dates givn for the Bethpage house that's pictured on the John Hewlett II Find A Grave, are in conflict with the 1740 date mentioned in the Hewlett article by Mr. Hazelton, as the date when John had his house built in Woodbury. Thanks so much!

|Emma ||Hewlett House @ Bethpage|
Hi, Anonymous! Since one of the Hewlett Family married into a line of my Family, I'm interested in knowing if the pics of the Hewlett House @ Bethpage, identified on various sites as “The Hewlett House, now restored to 1840, was "built during the 1890s" in Woodbury, an example of Federal Period architecture and the House was inhabited by the Hewlett Family, including a descendent of the original owners, Lewis Hewlett", and "A descendant, Lewis Hewlett, resided at this house in “Great Neck“. Is this the same house, built in "1740" in East Woods aka currently Woodbury, by John Hewlett II m. to Hannah Jackson, notable for it's china closet (now @ the MET) and secret stairs and trap doors used during the Revolutionary War, spoken of in "HEWLETT-FAMOUS LONG ISLAND FAMILY/THE BOROUGHS OF BROOKLYN AND QUEENS COUNTIES OF NASSAU AND SUFFOLK, LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK 1609-1924 BY HENRY ISHAM HAZELTON"? The identifying statements of the house @ Bethpage seem to be in conflict with the built date of the (Bethpage) house that is pictured on the Find A Grave for John Hewlett II. Thanks so much!

Could you tell me where the grave marker of William Laing is located. You took a photo of it.
We have been looking for years to find his grave.
Medal of Honor Historical Society US.
|Sharon Martini||Robert Stirrat photos incorrect|
You added the incorrect picture for Robert Stirrat, this is not him, it's his son. The photo that you added should go to
Find A Grave Memorial# 98806993, his son Robert Hall Stirrat. These men are my grandfather and great grandfather. Also the newspaper clipping is for Robert Hall Stirrat who was a sports writer in Nassau County NY. Would you fix them please?
Do we know each other?
|AAW||Anthony D Whealey house|
Where did you find the photo of the house belonging to Anthony D Whealey, buried in Greeenfield?
He is a lateral ancestor of mine, and neither he nor his sister Martaha had any children so I am curious where the original of this photo is ended up.

Thank you for adding the article concerning the death of my brother. I could not find one. I was born after he died.

I was wondering where you got that picture you posted on this memorial? This is a grandfather of mine.
