Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am in the process of working with Owen Cemetery, (Thomas Township, Saginaw, MI) to record all of the names of the people buried there and photograph all grave sites.

September 20, 2014
One year later...
It's become important to me to provide as much info. as possible for anyone looking for family members, so pardon my edits....but I'm hoping they'll help people find the correct family members, or just add info for those people looking for family connections.

September 20, 2013.
I just discovered this site and am learning a LOT about my family history.
My family's names are: Knepper, Graham, Pringle, McNicol, Bracey and Uptegrove.
Thanks to this site, I found and 'met' my father's family. No easy task, when his mother died in childbirth after having his youngest brother, and his dad left them. The children were too young to know much about them except that their mother was from Caro, MI. My aunt remembered that their mother's maiden name was the same as her married name...that's how they met. They were introduced by someone else with the same last name.
Thanks to all of you who do this! It meant the world to me to 'find' them. Now I'm on a quest to find out more.....and in the process I want to help others...just like several others have helped me.

Re: Infant Daughter Tennester
Note: Looks like the Infant is the Daughter of: Charles Tennester (1886-1945) 144367750 & his wife Elsie (1886-1990) 150057420 who seems also to be the parents of a daughter Ethel Tennester Secord (1907-2005) who married another Jerome Nathan Secord than the one I have in Gladwin County, Michigan set-up this Jerome Nathan Secord vitals are: (1897-1978)

Looks like no Find A Grave memorials have been set-up for this Jerome Nathan Secord or Ethel his wife... Looks like one would have to go down south near Grand Blanc, Genesee County, MI for more info???

Hi Janet! Thank you so much for your transcription help. I just edited my bio and it may answer some questions for you. I have thousands more yet to post. I didn't realize the photos would go public so quick. I think they give you a week to work alone, then they the community gets to help. I sure can use it and appreciate it all! Take a look at instructions if interested, thank you!

Hi

thank you for the kind words about the photo's. Here in canada it is pretty common to list the wifes maiden name on the stone. makes family research easier for people lol

have a good night.

Thank you for the trouble of checking out and finding out there is no stone marker for Mr. Mott.
I am glad you took the photo as it places the spot in the cemetery.

Re: William Burford
Thank You!

I typically choose information off the Headstone. Though, obituary is pretty solid also... Wish we had his Death Certificate to know which one to use. I put in your discrepancy note.
