I was born in Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY May 18th, 1961. I first became involved with F.A.G after I re interred my late mother Joan T. McGill-Heed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY last year. I am not able to get there as I like, due to the fact that I live in RI, so I find this to be the "Next Best Thing". Eventually, I registered other family members on the Memorial Pages.(Yes, I leave flowers and notes for my Mom fairly regularly).|
I currently live in New Bedford, MA.
I am greatly interested in cemeteries after I had fought tirelessly against the city of Providence RI reg. North Burial Ground Cemetery, and the total lack of perpetual care(and the trust fund to do it with). This was my driving force to have Mom in a Cemetery where the dead are treated with Dignity and Respect: not mistreated and desecrated as she was prior to her move.

Snow finally cleared and fulfilled request for Raymond McGill. Kathryn McGill w/o Raymond was next to Raymond. Do you want her marker also? Let me know.

You are most welcome. Glad I could be of help.

The ground is snow covered right now. I will go back when things get better.
|Volunteer #46577499||RE: Florence and Lank Leonard|
I am so glad to see that someone has entered pages for the Leonards. I last spoke with Florence in '98, while visiting a mutual friend in Miami ... she said she was failing, and Jimmy was not well, either. Jimmy used to play with one of my sisters, after I left home.
Lank gave me a copy of one of his 'strips', that he dedicated to me when I was just a kid (using my name) - which has been lost over the years, due to numerous moves ... I'm sorry not to have it today!
So - thanx again for creating pages for these folks - as they are both fondly remembered.
So very sorry for your loss.
I will gladly take a photo of his grave when I return to that cemetery,but my visits off Cape are infrequent.
Your best bet is to click the request a photo button on his memorial page and a local volunteer may get to fulfill it sooner.

|Dyane||RE: Al Lash|
Just so you know for future reference, a claim for a photo request allows the volunteer two weeks to be able to complete the request.
Albert Lash is buried in the plot of Morris Turkoff, Section 5, Path 3.

Your photo request for this man seems to have been fulfilled by a pic of the stone on his wife's memorial.
