A little about me...I'm a amateur photographer/genealogist/findagraver as well as an extremely proud mommy to six children (3 girls/3boys) and 16 grandchildren! :) I've been working on my own family tree since about 1994...not long after my Grama passed away...she raised me and so I do occasionally refer to her as my Mommy. Family that I am working on are Sanders, Denny/Denney, Cummins, Daglish, McCord, Heater, Galbreath and Lobb. I live with my best friend...my Ed as I call him! and our doggie, Jettie. I found Findagrave while researching our family and have been a die hard "Graver" since!
Update: Married my best friend, My Ed, Oct 3, 2014 and am now officially a "new" person lol
PLEASE If you want to request a transfer or updates to memorials do that through the "edit" tab/suggest a correction!!!! When I have many many many edits/transfers/messages to read and answer it gets frustrating to have to look up the memorials for each request when if done correctly I can just click on the link included with the suggestion/edit...quicker for me to get it done for you :) :)
If someone has an issue with any memorial I am involved with please be polite and adult and send a note through the SAC feature and I'll gladly do whatever I can to make you happy! Leave me a rude hateful message and I'll first delete it and then forget about it. That way I'm returning the favor!
From Find A Grave's FAQ...
"The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."
I have no problem whatsoever doing any updates or links to my memorials and definitely will transfer if I'm not related and you have a direct connection.
I love being able to link up entire families as far back or forward as possible!!! It's like a big puzzle and I also love puzzles :) It gives me a great feeling to get one done! I always try to find a little information to add to the memorials that I create so that it is more than the mere fact that someone was born and they died. Sometimes I'm unsuccessful but believe me I usually spend some time searching before I give up! Stubborness I guess lol.
If I ever add a picture to a memorial that you would rather I didn't please let me know but I prefer to hear from the "manager" of the memorial.

Looks like you created two records for this person. Please see Find A Grave #159700566. Thought you would want to know so you could delete one of the records. Must have been one of those late nights spent doing data entry to Find A Grave! lol We all have them!
Thanks so much!

My grandmother was Christena Jane Cummings and her father was John Hood Cummings from Indiana. His father was Malachi Cummings.

I think I have the transcription Colleen. No need to do anything extra. I believe Eugene's inscription is ""The little crib is empty now, the little clothes laid by, a mother's hope, a father's joy, in death's cold arms doth lie."
Please be careful walking as I'm sure you will be. As this is a Quaker Cemetery, many burials are unmarked so the changing level of the ground can be a challenge. It may not be obvious where folks are buried...

Thank you Colleen for everything Ė especially your work on the Greensboro Friends Cemetery. I have many, many people there. You photographed a marker for 122233748, my Great Uncle, the first Eugene Barnard. It is the marker you mentioned which is between Cyrus and Mary. This is definitely the stone for Eugene. My deceased 90-year-old Aunt remembered it from when she was a child. If you do go back, could you provide the transcription for this stone? Iím working with Photoshop and the photo now but canít determine what all of the words are. After all, the stone is 121 years old. Whatever you can do, I would be most grateful.

Thank you for the picture. It is a wonderful photo and I appreciate your efforts . Bless you.
Do you by chance have a George Denny in your family tree? He was born in 1870 and died in 1940 and is buried in Hebron Cemetery?
