I do enjoy sharing the photos when proper credit is given! Many miles were traveled to obtain pictures of these stones. If you should need a higher resolution picture -just ask! thanks!
Thank you to all who walk the yards of stones, and photograph what they see. As I visualize some of the old stones I realize how important it is to have a digital record the stone cutters's creations, -and, the memorials they created of our past generations.

Hi, you posted a photo of an 1880 Census on this memorial for my great-grandmother and have a caption with more info than it contains -- specifically, the former surnames Armonstrong and Long, of her mother, Pauline Garsee, Find A Grave#33587138. I am trying to track down the kin that placed a new headstone on Pauline's grave in 2011, or just find anyone who can tell me more about her. I've heard lots of family stories and rumors, but seen little substantiation. Are you related?

Hi, Did you send anything to Find A Grave yet? If not, can you wait please?
Judging from how complicated this is going to be, it might be better if just one of us handles the whole thing. My suggestion would be for it to be me since I'm making up this huge list anyway with all the explanations and suggestions for handling them.
Basically I'm going to continue going through all of their memorials. So far what I've found is that there only a few legitimate memorials that aren't duplicates and that aren't in the wrong cemetery.
There are huge numbers that are just plain duplicates of older memorials that have the same information and that have nice photos already so they should probably just be deleted. Then there is a large group that are duplicates and are in the wrong cemetery that should either be deleted or merged with John Beckstein's memorials and my memorials, leaving us as creators and managers (for now). There are few that were already merged (incorrectly, probably due to FamilyTResearch's request) and are now sitting in the wrong cemetery - those should probably be turned back over to John Beckstein since they were his originally. Then there are a few that need to be moved to the correct cemetery. And who knows how many other scenarios there are? Grrr...
Please let me know what you think...

|KC||RE: Richard O Lyman 46846083|
Good catch! The other researcher/photographer's photo appears to have been taken in the same location as mine, and my photo was definitely taken in the Columbia cemetery at the same time that I photographed the entire cemetery, so there's definitely no doubt as to the location. Plus I've never even been to the Coventry cemetery.
I believe that Richard's memorial, along with his wife's memorial (Estelle Jane Downer Lyman) and that of Ethel Elizabeth Lyman Powell, should all be deleted at the Coventry cemetery by FamilyTResearch as all three are duplicates of memorials that are in the correct cemetery in Columbia.
And it looks like there's more to the problem too, they added at least 2 Downer family memorials that are also duplicates and in the wrong cemetery. There may be more, but that's where I stopped looking.
Do you want to follow up with FamilyTResearch about deleting all of these, or do you want me to do it, or both of us? I'm fine with however you want to handle it.
Please let me know, thanks!
