Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very grateful to have a site like this to locate distant family members I have been researching. This gave me the idea to give back what was given to me so freely.

I believe we need to honor our ancestors and relatives and remember them in our hearts. This is a way for me to love, honor, & respect the deceased and those I loved very much. I hope this will help anyone searching for their family roots and consider an act of "pay it forward" as a way to give back what was freely given to you.

Possible duplicate memorial?
Looking for some Hills and found Jim Hill (unknown dates) #67188810 and a James W. Hill (1919) #6718863 with wife Elma Jean Hill. It appears that the headstone for James W and Elma was also added to Jim Hill. The Plot description appears to be the same. Can you check to verify if Jim Hill and James W are the same individuals?
Thank you for your time and effort. Barb

Transfer Request
Hello Diana,

Would it be possible to transfer the memorial of Grace M. Barker (#66415671) to me? I don't know if she is one of your family members. She was a great aunt.
Thank you for all that you do here on Find A Grave. It makes all the difference to the families to know that their loved ones matter to so many.

the Schooleys in Lyon's Lake
I was lucky enough to meet the cemetery sexton this last Sunday. She looked and looked but it appears that they might be in unmarked graves.
I can get you her phone number if you'd like.

Frank A Bromley follow up
I think the best course of action would be if you would be willing to remove your memorial for Frank and then I'll make an edit request to his other memorial to add his second wife, Grace. I think that memorial was opened first and it seems next to impossible to contact that manager with any kind of message except for an edit.
I just got the same thing done with two memorials for Lucy A Smith Bromley 66885829 getting the information combined into one memorial.
As the manager of your memorial it is for you to decide whatever you wish to do so please don't think I'll trying to tell you what to do.
Thank you very much

Reply to your note
After looking at my records the only name that comes close is one Franklin A. Bromley, born in Michigan, with a birth date that seems to line up and whose grandfather was named Ami Fuller Bromley, so we can see where the “A” in
the middle name could be Ami and where it would come from. This Frank had a cousin named Warren Bromley who married Myrtle Knickerbocker and these names and correct dates are listed in the same cemetery where Frank’s headstone is located. In looking at the memorial for Frank Ami Bromley his wife is listed as May E. Bromley and her birth year would be the same as Frank’s.

In looking through all my edit requests the only edit I’ve made to this Frank Bromley was to link his spouse, Grace, to him and we can read her name on their headstone listing her as his wife, so we know she was his wife.

I’m guessing, as I think you suggested in your note to me, that Frank was married twice with his first wife is buried with all those babies and that he later married Grace who is buried beside him. I think we have two memorials for the same man and that “Butterfly-Kisses” created her memorial for him before you created yours, based on the dates shown. I would suggest that maybe you should remove your memorial for Frank and then we need to get Grace added as the second wife of Frank Ami Bromley.

I’m in no way trying to tell you what you should do, you are the manager of your memorials and it is for you to decide what you want to do. If you decide not to do this you may want to at least change the death date on your memorial to match what is listed on his headstone, unless you somehow know that the date on the stone is wrong.

Thank you very much
Jess Bromley
