This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it. Please get locations before requesting photos from Inglewood Park Cemetery. If the memorial only has a plot name (i.e., "Fairhaven") you will need to ask for the lot number. The office staff are very helpful.|
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am personally doing work for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. FIND A GRAVE ADMINISTRATORS SUPPORT THIS POLICY. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.
I will not cut and paste raw data from census records, death indices, etc. A nicely written bio is preferable.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

|nita stolns||RE: Earl West|
Greetings; I understand and in no way upset of your not transferring Earl to me. I'm not going to throw a tissy fit like some do on find a grave, that's not what I'm about. I just thought I'd throw this information your way Earls father grandfather is also my G grandfather. (Willis West). I am related. His number again is 79770973. Thanks again for your timely manner in answering before. I do understand, your probably related also. Thank you for all you do on Find A Grave. Sincerely email@example.com. Have a great day
The photo requests you cited are just for the Ottumwa Cemetery alone. There are more - Shaul Cemetery, Calvary Cemetery, and The Ottumwa Jewish Cemetery for the city alone, plus many country cemeteries in our county. There are three of us here that do most of the requests, and we are all out and about a lot. We do the best we can, but we all have a lot of other things going on in our lives too. This has been a hot and humid summer, and we had an unusually large amount of rain this summer, so these requests really piled up.

Hello, can you connect Samuel Roten Brimer Find A Grave Memorial# 151475997 with his wife Susannah I Brimer 107467760?

Thank you for getting this picture for me. I really appreciate it.

I sincerely appreciate your help. I, too, am disappointed when there is no marker on a grave. It is enough, for now, to see her final resting place. Thank you.

Thank you for the Gertrude Fendring grave photo. I appreciate your time to do this. Carol
|ALC||RE: Eddie Adams|
Thank you so much for your efforts. It is possible that he is buried elsewhere since he died many decades before Eddie. I was hoping for a double headstone but I will keep searching. :) Thanks again for your help!

|djtruitt||Just a note~|
Yes, Ottumwa, Iowa, is a real place. Radar aside, we do have a real-life claim to fame. Tom Arnold was born and raised in Ottumwa; in fact, he used to babysit my husband's daughters when they were young!
