Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am 56 years and have just began working on Geneology for my families. While searching, I discovered my biological Great Grandparents, who I have never known and their pictures through Find A Grave and couldn't beleive my eyes. There was soooo much information, names, dates, parents, pictures, etc. and knew that I wanted to be a part. I have had several mini strokes twice which prevents me from working, but this I can do when I can and if I can make just one person as happy as I was and am, it will be very fulfilling to me. Thank you to all of the other volunteers who inspired me. Thank you Find A Grave. Most of all, Thank you to my Wonderful husband Mike who supports my efforts by taking me to the cemeteries and helping trim and sweep the headstones for a nicer picture. He is Wonderful. Thank you so much Honey.

I took a gravestone photo of Edward and Hannah today. I wanted to let you know there is a small stone for their daughter, Ninita who is buried next to them. Unfortunately the sun was behind the small stone so we did not take a photo of it as you could not read it. We will try to remember to take it the next time we go to Phillipsburg in the morning.

You're very welcome. I'm sorry there wasn't a headstone yet.

I cannot find her buried in Utah, but her Husband Blaine Ole Petersen or Peterson, Utah, Certificate of Death, shows him buried in Gunnison.

RE: Alice Sprague
Sorry it's taken a while to get this. Your message ended up in my updates folder so I didn't see it until now. The GPS for Alice is:

40 52 2.549, -111 53 17.539

Just copy and paste that into Google Earth and it'll take you right there.

Dear Jody,
After I sent you my thank you note for Dora Thompson I read your bio which I enjoyed very much. I agree that Find A Grave has been a wonderful way to learn and share with others. I especially liked learning that despite the challenges you have that you are willing to go to cemeteries along with you husband to fulfill photo requests. You husband sounds like a special person to help you sweep the markers. God bless both of you.

The marker for Dora Thompson has a special story connected to it. Dora was one of 11 children born to the Fritser family who lived along the South Fork of the Salmon River. The mother died in 1919 and almost all of the children were taken to the Boise area and adopted. Dora's ancestors were early pioneers of Idaho.
