|Shawn Riley||Lee Ingle|
According to the Madison County marriage index, Julia Ammons was Lee Ingle's 2nd wife. They were married on May 30, 1915. His first marriage was with Sally Landers and they wedded on Mar. 31, 1904. Since Edd was born in 1910, that would most likely make him the son of Sally Landers. I found Lee's death certificate. He died on May 2, 1956 and was buried in the Peek Cemetery. He was the son of Levi and Ella McHone Ingle. I created a memorial for him and linked it with some of the family. See memorial at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=139980764. Hope that answers your questions. ~ Shawn

As far as Robert Mole I will have to check my papers at home, I havent done family search in awhile so i'm little rusty on the names, here is my work email if you ever have any questions
I'll get back with you on the names.
Yes Lavinia had a brother named John Jackson Grooms and another named Wiley Grooms. All three children of George Wiley Grooms Jr.
|Patricia Branson||William Norton|
Hi - In my family tree he's the husband of my 2nd great-aunt. Civil War records show two men with this same name joining 2NCMI, Co. E. One was listed as 18yo and the other 23yo in 1863, which makes their birth years 1845 and 1840. I saw a death certificate for Wm. Norton stating a birth year of 1830, but found no enlistment records for a man who would have been about 33yo in 1863. It may be he's the man born in Yancey Co. and enlisted 9-1-1863 in Knoxville, TN by J. Albert Smith. He was 5'7", fair complexion, blue eyes and dark hair. Maybe the informant on the death certificate made a guess of the birth year; those things happened frequently. If anyone knows for sure, I would appreciate knowing the facts. Thanks - sorry I couldn't be more help. If you belong to Ancestry, a public tree has posted a picture of him.
